El trato del personal es espectacular. Nos recogieron el coche para aparcarlo porque para nosotros el tráfico de Palermo lo hacia imposible. Nos recibieron en el hotel con un refresco y un aperitivo. El desayuno es inmejorable, muy variado y mucha cantidad.

This hotel was actually our safe net, as out booked-in-advance apartment cancelled on us 2 hours before check in. And we're really happy it happened. Great location, nicely furnished hotel and rooms. Right after checking we were instructed of all the interesting places in the city that we should visit and it was very helpful :)
The breakfast was amazing and if you have breakfast included, be prepared that you'd be full for the whole day.

Breakfast was amazing- best hotel brekkie ever. And the staff were all lovely and helpful.
Because there was a Vespa in our room, which was almost exactly the same as the one my husband had as a teenager, he is now desperate to buy one and spends all his time on EBay. 😀

Amazing place with even more amazing people. Hotel was great, huge breakfast, excellent location. The most impressive thing is cusomer care. After checking out I headed to a nearby car park only to find out it was locked, with my rented car and luggage inside, few hours before take off. The people at the hotel tried there best to find the garage owner, and when this didn't work they arranged for someone to return the car back to the airport the next day, and to ship my luggage. So I left, got on my flight home, and then everything worked perfectly. Many thanks, really grateful, you are fantastic!

Friendliest people, briljant breakfast, the building, its history and decoration, the swimmingpool with the Santa of Palermo looking over you. Even got an upgrade because i stayed for a week, which was lovely.

Wspaniały obiekt, piękny design, wygodne pokoje. Lokalizacja niesamowita- 5 minut do marketu rybnego i na stare miasto. Cudownie smaczne śniadania, piękny zakątek w starej kaplicy z basenem i jacuzzi.

Sehr gute Lage , verwinkeltes aber äußerst charmantes zentrales Boutique Hotel. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut.
Herzlichen Dank nochmal an den Besitzer des Hotels , der uns mit unserem defekten Leihwagen sofort geholfen hat, uns einen privaten Service zum Flughafen organisiert hat und sich persönlich um den Abtransport des Leihwagens gekümmert hat. Großartiger Service !!!!
Das gesamte Personal verdient ebenfalls ein dickes Lob für den tollen Service.

Really special and unusual small hotel in the heart of the city. Amazing original items such as an old well under the glass floor and restocked original tiles in our bathroom! Charming small secret pool with loungers on the other side of a small side street. Staff were super kind and helpful including welcoming us with Sicilian food and chilled water and producing platters of food for breakfast. And my kids loved Samba the dog! We would have liked an outdoor evening bar to relax with a drink, and a more reliable water supply for the shower- which came and went in temperature and pressure. But overall we had a great stay

What didn’t we like? Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. The owner has a special touch. Staff were simply fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is outstanding with fruits, pastries, savouries, yogurt and coffees galore. You won’t leave hungry.
Our suite was divine!
The pool area is small but charming and we had no difficulty securing a spot each day.
We loved our week at this gem! Thank you Porta Di Castro
