I love the room and location
Na
I travel constantly for business and expect basic comforts — a cool, sleepable room and honest service. Fraserplace Canary Wharf failed both.
Room temperature consistently exceeded 30°C (86°F). It would be impossible to sleep or work comfortably.
The property claims to have air conditioning, but the upper floors didn’t work. Staff insisted the room had AC and once i left it started to work, i know this is a lie. It’s obvious why they don’t advertise functioning aircon.
When I asked for a refund or to be moved, management refused and offered no acceptable solution. I made it clear there was no way I could stay; their response was i should if read the terms and conditions and to deny responsibility rather than resolve the issue.
Front‑of‑house staff ranged from incompetent to indifferent. One manager,a sweaty middle manager called Ricardo — was particularly unhelpful and dismissive.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. If you need to sleep, work, or even simply get out of the heat, look elsewhere — Fraserplace Canary Wharf is not suitable while their cooling and customer service issues remain unresolved.
There was free coffee on the house and I loved the scent of the room, bathroom and halls. Everything smelled fresh. There was also a very nice wash soap and shampoo and it smelled amazing as well.
I disliked the fact we had to wait until 4pm to check in and also we had to check out not by 4 but instead by 11am. Very cheeky.
There was also this annoting lamp dangling above the bed. Very risky. I feel the rooms should be decorated better with safety in mind.
Having a kitchen(ette) is quite useful, and be it only for a fridge to chill drinks and/or prep a small meal.
The cleaning clearly wasn't very thorough when we moved a part of the furniture unclean spots became visible so obviously the cleaning has been very superficial this also applied for the bathroom. When checking in the staff behaved a bit odd and required unusual data which seemed fraudulent; the matter could, however, be sorted out with the manager.
I especially liked the staff who were very polite and very helpful. Everywhere was spotless clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Special thanks to Ricardo
There is a kitchenette at the room but I believe it would be even better if there was also breakfast served at the hotel.
The apartment was quite spacious, with separate bedrooms and an open plan kitchen with dining and seating areas, and with two bathrooms. The location is decent, being about 15 min from the underground and central Canary Wharf shopping and dining areas.
The room had no AC, and whilst fans were suppled for the bedrooms, these did not help much as the window in one bedroom was locked and could not be opened, and the window in the other bedroom could only be opened slightly. The drain in the master bathroom was blocked. The tiling adjacent the shower in the smaller bathroom was not grouted properly and was dirty. The carpet in the seating area was dirty and stained. The sprung mattress in the main bedroom was sagging and rether uncomfortable. The doors of the wardrobe in the main bedroom did not close properly, such that they stayed ajar and the interior light would not switch off - so we had to push an armchair up against the doors to ensure the lights were off and did not disturb our sleep.
Great breakfast, great facilities, nice view, friendly staff, spacious
The baby cot should have a mattress
Had everything required. Fab location, clean and modern
Nothing
The views are amazing.
The milk in the fridge was spoilt which ruined my morning coffee but every thing else was perfect. The apartment itself and building is exceptionally beautiful
