Spacious, Modern 2 Bed Apartment With Ensuites

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and sadness regarding my recent experience during my stay at Ark spacious accommodation

I had booked an 11-night stay, paying a total of £1,102, along with a £250 deposit, £25 for a baby travel cot, and £100 for travel from Stoke-on-Trent to Sheffield, which brought my total expenses to £1,475. Unfortunately, these costs significantly impacted my financial resources, leaving me with nothing in my bank account to secure alternative accommodation for myself and my children.

As a man suffering from foot ulcers, I can hardly walk a few steps on a good day. It was with great distress that I found myself in a vulnerable position when 4 staff members from Ark spacious accommodation without any empathy or consideration threw my belongings onto the road. I pleaded with them not to do so, explaining my situation and the fact that I had no means to transport my things elsewhere.

To make matters worse, my food and medicines were mixed with rubbish, rendering them unusable. I was left with no choice but to spend the night on a park bench, fearing for my safety, as I had no one to come and pick me up due to the distance from Stoke-on-Trent. The following morning, I was finally able to return home after six long days without seeing my children, which caused me immense stress and anxiety.

I am heartbroken by the way my belongings were treated. I had brought a week’s worth of shopping for my children, and to see it all thrown away alongside my personal items was devastating. I contacted Ark Spacious accommodation regarding the unsanitary conditions of the apartment, including insect-infested beds and unsafe areas in the garden, which made it impossible for me to stay there with my toddlers.

I feel that I was treated unfairly and with a lack of respect. The partial refund offered to me does not reflect the distress and hardship I endured during my stay.

Only down side to the apartment was the lack of blinds in the living room. It was a bit difficult to enjoy the Tv with the sun causing a problem. Plus, it also meant we were exposed at night.

Both beds were atrociously uncomfortable, bedding was of very poor quality
Largest bedroom was front facing and you can hear the road
Towels had been hang dried and not tumble dried so were rough to use
There was no coffee machine (?!?!)
The heating kept automatically resetting to 18 degrees
Bin was broken
Lots of lightbulbs not working or flickering

Nothing

Bi fold doors were broken so couldn’t be opened onto the patio area.

Nothing it more than accommodated for our needs, couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
