Had no sleep. Street noise was to be expected however, other guests were using the smoking area outside our room all night until 6am having very loud conversations. No sleep, didn't feel safe.

Was surprised by noise from busy nightlife outside outside continued until about 4am, although to be fair the central location was location was the reason we chose it so can't really complain and had stayed out late ourselves!

And the lift is terrifying! Not one for the faint hearted or if you don't like lifts 😂. At least there was a warning sign on the door about the jolts.

The shower was faulty

They say it’s an apartment but there’s no kitchen. So it’s more like a room of a hotel without reception.
The day of checkout the fire alarm started screening and it was on for about one hour till someone come and turn it off.
But the most weird thing was the cleaner at the end when she saw me, she asked me to accept god because gay people will not go to heaven. I just asked her to tell me where in the bible this is written and tried to educate her a bit.
And regarding the noise, I can’t complain because they mention this in their listing. However, I didn’t expect it there was a nightclub with loud music from 11pm to 6am starting on Tuesday night already. For young people who wants to party. This is the right place. Good price, nightclub less then 1 min away

Noisy outside but expected as in city centre

It’s an odd property, as you rather feel like you’re entering a lecture centre or similar! But, once you’re in and you climb the stairs to the top floor the feeling changes, a bit rough round the edges, but my room was very well appointed, everything you would expect from a hotel room, with the added bonus of a microwave and fridge which was a nice touch. Overall the cleanliness was good and value for money considering the amount we paid, but honestly, I wouldn’t pay any more for what I got.
As I was going to a show at the Birmingham Hippodrome the location couldn’t have been better too.

The room was quite basic and a little dated, and cleanliness could have been better. I found a used razor on the bathroom floor and there was no hairdryer. The area was also quite noisy in the evening and I personally did not feel completely comfortable walking around the neighbourhood at night. There was also some confusion about my late check out, as the cleaner had not been informed and entered the room in the morning while I was still there. She was very apologetic once I explained the situation, so it seemed to be simply a communication issue.
