Good location
Pros:

Good location right on the beach, clean, spacious apartment with great view.
Has secure parking, pool and lovely balcony
Staff are friendly, helpful and kind

Cons:

No tissues in the room, would be good to have a box. The esplanade gets quite busy so traffic noise may disturb your sleep. Bed was too soft for me.
There were no cafe close by for morning coffee

Nothing - it was all great. Only thing not good was the two chairs on balcony. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Sandy Shores Unit 11
Pros:

My sisters & I enjoyed our stay overall.
To be able to look out at the passage of ships passing out to sea morning & night in front of the units,was interesting & relaxing.
The Unit itself is worthy of a high score for it's space & facilities.
Between us, we only have a few comments for consideration .
The the 2 single beds/ bedroom windows cannot be opened for air flow- through.
There is a ceiling fan but this room is a bit 'air-less' if sleeping without the fan on.
For myself,I don't like sleeping with a fan blowing on me
That's a personal thing & not necessarily an issue for others.
However, although there is a blind on these windows ,it doesn't shut out the very strong bright light from the outside where the lift is situated.
Of course, for matters of security this well lit area is important.
The bed/ mattresses are quite firm & would probably be more relaxing if there were an extra mattress layering such as a light memory foam.
Other than this,the bedroom bathroom & separate toilet are well placed.
The main room/ living room,has a divan that doubles as a fold down bed.
Of course a good idea for a rental unit,but it is extremely
uncomfortable to sit on as the inner padding seems to be very minimal.
So we each were either taking bed pillows to sit on this sofa / divan to minimise the discomfort,or were using the dining table chairs to watch TV.
These really were the only 2 deficits of this particular living space,but in fact they are both important elements of comfort.

I would recommend this rental nevertheless as all other aspects of our stay cannot be faulted.
Also the location really requires driving to cafes & restaurants,as there is no easy walking access.
I do not have a car so this was relevant for me.

Great for a trip to Australia Zoo & a relaxing day or two after.
Pros:

Very well maintained property. Great views. Good location. Heated pool. Judy was very helpful, and a great communicator.
