attention : si vous arrivez tard un samedi soir - on doit attendre l ouverture de la réception le dimanche matin sinon votre badge d entrée est annulé. Nous avons eu cette désagréable surprise et nous avons ensuite dû attendre 18 h pour le déblocage du badge

I wanted to extend my stay and asked for price was a bit more than before due to weekend but did not got offer for any discount as guest who is already living there. Beside that everything is good.
The Apartment was absolutely beautiful 😍

They stole my security deposit and my two nights stay I refused to stay in the room due to unclean and was refunded nothing
The size, layout and overall ambience of the unit was more than comfortable. The view was lovely.
The fact there was a full stove top and oven however no frypan, pots or oven dishes to be able to use this feature without purchasing my own. I enquired at reception and was simply told "they have been stolen by previous guests", but offered no solution to the issue at all.
Nothing.
Included taxi never showed up, accomodation and booking.com refuse to help.
I chose this hotel over others because it had a taxi included from the airport to the accomodation.
I enter my flight number, time we'll be landing, everything. All sorted out.
I show up on the day, I check the status of the taxi and it says something along the lines of "Status will be updated when driver is on his way". Great. Luckily, it gives me the option to call both the driver and the journey provider.
I give the driver a call. "Hey, I think you're my taxi today to surfer's paradise, are you here at the airport?"
Barely understood the guy, but he pretty much tells me "Oh uhh um car broken, can't drive today sorry."
Right of the bat, are you serious? Thanks for telling me that now. He had my number.
I ask "what should I do then?"
And then he has the audacity to tell me to "catch a bus". Not only does he pull a no-show but gives me nothing to work with or no one to call.
I call the journey provider, who also pretty much tells me to catch a bus and nothing he can do. Amazing, guess I am catching a bus.
I get in touch with booking.com and message someone in customer service. He seems pretty helpful, says he understands and says to just catch a taxi up and send the receipt. I explain I'm already on the bus and suggest I could catch a taxi back to the airport, send the receipt and get that refunded. He says "okay just send the receipt and we will refund you."
Here's my favourite part. The time comes, we catch a taxi back, I go to booking.com and tell them I've caught that taxi back, here's my receipt. Only this time it's someone else on the other end. I ask her if she can see past chat history or whether I need to explain it again. She says she can see the chat.
She then tells me that she'd be happy to refund me the bus trip, to the accomodation.

We had 3 rooms. One had been upgraded, the other two were a little old but clean & tidy. We were aware the apartments were fairly old so we were not expecting 5/6 star . Staff were friendly & helpful. Linen & towels were clean & fresh. Location & views were amazing
Some of our keys didn't work but this was rectified. A little time was lost.
Beachcomber was in a great location close to everything, beautiful view and very comfortable. Loved that it had a bath.
The room was a little bit dated.
It was a good location. The bed was lovely. The view was amazing. I was on the 21st floor so my studio overlooked the sea. They give you shower gel, conditioning shampoo. Super nice to have access to the pool.
The property is very tired and rundown. It does need a revamp. The pool area and sauna felt unclean. No washing machines or dryer in the studio room. It didn’t feel too clean as there were stains on the sofa, the floor was banged up in places and the whole property was just tired. Surfers paradise is not a nice area which I knew before coming anyway. But the rooms really need a revamp and some furniture needs to be replaced as damaged. But the bed was very comfortable and view was great I just don’t think it’s worth as much as it cost. Because of stains in some furniture that’s why it felt unclean. Typically tired = unclean. But I had an enjoyable stay.
