One of the property's biggest advantages is its excellent location, with easy access to Zurich, Lucerne, and many of Switzerland's top attractions. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there are a few areas for improvement. Even the larger apartments have only one bathroom, which may not be practical for families or groups. There is also only one mirror in the bathroom, and additional mirrors in the bedrooms would be a useful addition.

The placement of the electrical outlets is not very convenient, and the apartment lacks tables or luggage racks for personal belongings. During our stay, Europe was experiencing a heatwave, and the apartment became quite warm. The staff kindly provided fans, but the apartments do not have air conditioning, as clearly stated in the property description. Guests planning to visit during the summer should keep this in mind when booking.

Pros:

De douche en locatie was prima.

Cons:

De bedden waren niet super. En helaas geen info over het parkeren in de kelder. Betaald parkeren was daardoor overbodig maar werd niet aangegeven op de site van booking.com door het hotel.

Buona esperienza
Pros:

Il processo di check in automatico molto semplice ed efficace. La stanza spaziosa per 3 persone. Comodo avere il frigo in camera.
La stazione é a circa 10 minuti a piedi e se non si desidera camminare c'é la possibilità di prendere il bus 501.

Cons:

La struttura non é in pieno centro ma ci si puo' spostare facilmente a piedi.
Consiglierei di far trovare del bagnoschiuma per la doccia.

Useful self-catering flat in walking distance from railway stations
Pros:

Affordable accommodation, close to Luzern (much much cheaper than anywhere in Luzern itself near station)
Pleasant room, if rather small - had to move a chair to open balcony doors. Nice, sheltered balcony with table and two chairs. Adequate storage space for clothes etc. Very effective fan and electric shutter - very necessary this year to deal with exceptionally hot conditions. Useful cooking facilities - microwave and 2 ring induction cooker - and adequate pans and utensils.
Reasonably near main railway station and the station for Rigi-Kulm - about 20 minutes walk up, 15 down. Hourly bus service from near flat to/from railway station (very handy when bringing shopping back from Coop at the station), but quite dear at 3.70CHF per person (June 2026 price).

Cons:

Method of access being wholly smart phone based. It wouldn't work to let us into the building and we had to call the agent to gain access. She wasn't especially helpful at first, just reiterated the internet method, and it took some negotiation to get a door code.
Kitchen bin fairly full on arrival. However reported to agent and housekeeping turned up the following morning to empty.
Walk in shower tended to leak water into rest of bathroom.
Didn't like the bed undersheet. Seemed like towelling material - very rough, uncomfortable feel. No bedhead or bedside lights, so had to turn off main light then and, if shutter down, 'feel' ones way back to bed.
Care needed in getting out of bed due to full-length shelf above (head bumped twice but not badly fortunately)
No information provided on how to work cooker or shutter (had to use trial and error) nor on nearest shops, cafes/restaurants, doctor, local transport, etc,

Entspannter Aufenthalt!
Pros:

Wenn man sich erst einmal an die "Schlüsseltechnik" mit dem Handy gewöhnt hat, klappt alles sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt etwas am Ortsrand und bei der herrschenden Hitze war es anstrengend, zu Fuß den Tierpark zu erreichen.
