Pros:

Belle vue au loin… mais après un parterre de toit qu’ils évitent sur les photos
Cuisine bien équipée
Très grande chambre

Cons:

Terrasse très petite et pas d’autre siège qu’un rocking-chair (y compris dans la chambre, seulement,t 2 tabourets haut, très sympa à l’intérieur pour manger mais rien pour se reposer et lire p.e.)
La famille qui vit en dessous est parfois bruyante le soir

Un logement assez bien et une belle vue, mais un acceuil et un service déplorable

La vue est vraiment belle.

Cons:

Adresse non précise et aucun panneau indicateur
Personne au moment d'arriver (alors qu'on avait prévenu plusieurs heures à l'avance) et aucune instructions pour retrouver notre chambre. Pas de réponse au téléphone.
Pas de possibilité de payer autrement qu'en cash, et récupération du cash à 7h du matin en toquant à notre porte sans avoir prévenu (enfin, si, à 6h du matin le jour même).
Les lits ne sont pas confortables (on sent les ressorts quand on est sur le côté)

Все, как и в других отзывах. Отель в горах. Номер большой. Даже слишком. Хозяину можно было бы сэкономить. Хозяин приветливый. Ветра жуткие. Номер продувается. Сквозит через неуплотненные окна. Может быть, у них монтажной пены нет? Или нет желания заморачиваться. Но при температуре 15 на улице и жутком ветре через весь номер - холодновато. Вода горячая есть. Все близко. Пару ночей нормально.

Нормально. Не то еще видали.

Pros:

They canceled my stay last minute saying that they overbooked themselves and I had to find another stay elsewhere. They offered to help find a place but it was only for 1 day, which wasn’t going to work out for me. I’m not sure how they overbooked themselves but I will never recommend this place since it’s not organized. Especially being my very first time traveling to Costa Rica alone and not knowing anyone or the area, I had to pay to stay at another place last minute and it was hard to find a place because the season was high so everything was either booked, far, or high in price.

Best Room Ever! Spacious, very clean, kitchenette, close to EVERYTHING! Nice neighborhood, easy in and out, gated at night, great Hostess, and awesome all-around! Thanks!

Pros:

This was an amazing stay in Monteverde! The property is very well maintained, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff are willing to work with you for early/late check ins and booking tours, etc. We definitely felt super comfortable and it was a great space to return to after a day out in nature. We also enjoyed the host’s dining suggestions for the area!

A good stay for 1 or 2 nights.
Pros:

Located 2km out of St Elena and better value which suited us as we had a hire car. Room was good, comfortable, quiet, basic but with evrything we needed. Small supermarket 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. Owner very friendly and helpful. For two nights it very good.

For the price, Ocean View is a good deal.
The host was always ready to answer requests and questions.

Cons:

All items are a little on the cheap side. The bed is small, the kitchen items of poor quality, and so on.

Great place stay, clean and confty with ocean view
Pros:

Everything what a traveler needs

- hot water
- confortable bed
- clean room
- ocean view
- great host
- washing services
- parking
- quiet place (well in Feb there were very stong winds) still i could sleep.


I wasn't going to book this place because it didnt have much review, but i am happy i did. I have even extended my stay and really enjoyed Santa Elana.

Cons:

Nothing i recommend you stay here.

Beautiful view, cozy room, sweet family, great communication, definitely staying again.
Pros:

Owners were accommodating, kind, and always available for whatever I needed. They were flexible with extending my stay as the room was available. Hot water and perfect little kitchen. Great view, quiet, and cozy.

Cons:

It's windy at night in Monteverde! Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
