Pros:

Location is great. A good little pad if you just want to crash for the night.

Cons:

Unfortunately you can hear couples/families through both walls, not just the corridor.
The bed is dated and concave.
Could easily freshen up this room.with some tlc.

Give Room 261 a miss = stay somewhere else.
Pros:

We were in Room 261.
The resort itself, is a lovely hotel. There is an outdoor pool, spa, gym and an indoor pool.
2 pool towels were provided, which was great 👍
We found a ripper restaurant called Bird Roc [amazing menu!!].
The air-conditioning worked well.

We were in Room 261.

Ok, its going to be long:

#A VERY small bed [possibly a 3/4 size which was extremely uncomfortable!!! we are not large people and it was terribly small. The smallest bed I have encountered. If you are above average build and height it would be unbearable.
#The room definitely needs a renovation/tidy up.
#Grotty carpet.
#Grotty walls.
#You can only collect keys during business hours, from a real estate agency that isnt on site. A bummer if you arrive after 5pm.. I have never experienced this type of key collection.
#No hangers in the cupboard.
#VERY strict rules on how to leave the room, otherwise you receive a charge.
# A tiny TV.
# Minimal toiletries. BYO your body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
#Fridge was defrosted and leaking upon arrival.
#No restaurant on site.

Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again. I wouldn't pay full price to stay at this apartment.

Overall very good but restaurant management needs to have a good look at themselves!! Very poor.
Cons:

Only had 1 meal there (that was enough!!!) Pancakes were cold, both coffee & tea were cold, tea cup was VERY unclean (a fact that was disputed when pointed out to staff),no teaspoons for sugar, staff not even trained to ask for table number when ordering.

You get what you pay for
Pros:

Good location near beach, resort facilities great. Price reasonable.

Cons:

Great resort but room did not meet expectations. The shower was covered in pink bacteria and mould was starting to form. It didn't look like the shower had been cleaned in months. I felt less clean after getting out of the shower. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows flat, in desperate need of replacing. Room itself was very dirty and lots of dust had accumulated in corners and behind furniture. Carpets did not seem to be clean, and we felt dirty to be bare foot.

Not worth the $$$ spent to stay there.
Pros:

Staff at Surf Coast Holiday Rentals were amazing and helpful. Location was great.

Cons:

No onsite park - drove around for 20 minutes looking. Mould and holes in tiles in shower. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable.

Pros:

Proximity was great, the resort is fabulous.

Cons:

Room wasn’t as advertised. We were unimpressed with the lack of amenities and disrepair of fittings. A microwave oven doesn’t make a kitchenette. No kitchen sink, no dishwasher, bathroom basin was the only source for water, with no dishwashing liquid provided. Soap rack in shower was missing, just holes in the tiles. Toilet roll holder fell off the wall on the first use.
