The location was ok

Cons:

Our stay was very disappointing. We found cockroaches in the apartment, and these were clearly not “tropical bugs” as the host claimed, but actual cockroaches/blattas. The host was not very helpful when we reported the issue, which made the situation even more frustrating.

Also, the advertised third bed is very misleading. It is not a proper bed (not even a decent folding bed) and was extremely uncomfortable, making it unsuitable for a real night’s sleep.

Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet basic expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

Location for us is great due to friends being close by.

Cons:

Level 2 above apartment 1 lots of banging and stomping from 11pm - 4am most nights, apartment could use some refreshing as it has aged and has some upgrades required in bathrooms where things are rusting… a fresh paint would also really help.

Pros:

It was a roomy place close to the esplanade beds where comfortable yet the unit we stayed in is in need of a few updates oven knobs broken, plasta wall chipped paint, laminate door edge coming off cupboard, dryer old and too loud to use. A fair bit of dirt in the grooves of the couch and cleaning equipment consisted of and outdoor broom and very old thin mop.

The apartment is in a great location, very convenient to get everywhere, and the staff respond very promptly.

Cons:

Room 208 and have encountered several serious issues:
• There is no Wi-Fi connection in Room 208.
• The washing machine is not functioning properly.
• The dryer is extremely dirty and unhygienic.
• We have found many small cockroaches in both the kitchen and the bathroom.

In addition, the air conditioner in Room 119 is not working properly. Even when it is set to 23°C, it does not produce any cold air.
