The location is excellent – centrally situated, close to Waterbom, the shopping centre and the beach.
The manager wasn’t very flexible and couldn’t help us get a larger room. She also took a long time to respond to our messages.
Location, vibe and room was almost perfect.
1. We need to pay the booking using cash (This was not mentioned in the T&C).
2. Room can have more ventilation.
3. The hot shower was difficult to navigate.

Good choice of breakfast and cooked fresh. Dinner time meal that I had was excellent, stuffed chicken breast and vegetables.

Beautiful surroundings outside of the room. Nice pool. Cute restaurant. Nice security guards and staff.
A number of things didn’t go well here. The most important thing was that the room smelled moldy and there was paint literally peeling off of the walls. Secondly, and quite awkwardly, the manager was upset and subsequently rude to us because her staff didn’t communicate well to her about our amended checkout time. We had a pre-approved extra hour before leaving and even cleared this with the security guard the night before checkout (messages with staff via Booking.com to prove it…and should it actually be our responsibility to make sure the employees communicate amongst each other??) Because of this miscommunication, the security guard unlocked our room, went in, and left it unlocked for the duration of our time while we were out exploring the area. My wife was very worried because of her valuables and gear left exposed. I wasn’t so bothered because the place was so nice and the security was kind, but it’s obvious that leaving rooms unlocked due to your own internal miscommunication was clearly not okay. We were then reprimanded for not checking out on time, which was obviously also ridiculous. At the end of it all, the manager eased up a bit and was very kind to us, but only after my wife made it very clear that she was disappointed about our room being left wide open. Of the millions of options to stay in the area, I’d save your worry and go elsewhere.
