This apartment was like stepping into an oven and they had no fans and it was on the first floor, so the only two windows in the apartment would have to be kept open so you had at least some air but still an oven and if you keep the windows open when you’re home sleeping you are totally unsafe because it’s not in a nice area of Dublin and if you are a single female as I am, you can’t leave the windows open on the first floor. It’s not safe. And the windows, even if I had stayed in the oven and chose to close the windows there was no way to lock the windows so the place is absolutely unsafe for really anyone to stay. If I was to stay there and leave my belongings there, my belongings would be unsafe without me there to protect them because the windows have to be open or closed and unlocked and on the first floor, horrible place really incredibly unkind and unhelpful staff.

There were visible water marks on the walls, the table had a damaged corner, and the bathroom was very basic. The shower was also very tight, making it difficult to open or close the door comfortably.

Guests should also be aware that it can be noisy. There is a college courtyard right outside the windows, children can be heard nearby, and on Sunday morning we were woken up by a gospel service from the church next door.

The fire alarm in the main hallway also went off twice randomly during our stay.

The main thing I would recommend improving is communication via Booking.com, as my messages were often answered with generic replies or not answered at all.

The check in process was torturous and difficult and involved walking backwards and forwards in the neighbourhood between affiliated properties. Poor communication about the location of keys and the arrival at the property meant that my husband and I arrived with large suitcases at one location and then needed to walk them to another location only to be taken to a third address that housed the accommodation.
The apartment was inadequate for the price point. The lift had weak/poor lighting - it was dark. It was a security issue.
Whilst the apartment was clean it smelled bad. Teabags and coffee pods provided but no milk.
There were no cabinets in the bathroom nor was there a toilet roll holder.

El acceso al edificio se hace a través de un túnel lleno de suciedad y malos olores que además está abierto por la noche y cualquiera puede acceder a él lo que da bastante inseguridad. Para colmo se cero el acceso con un candado sin avisar y sin proporcionarnos solución por lo que nos quedamos en la calle bastante rato en mitad de la noche y a la mañana siguiente seguía sin solucionarse

La limpieza era bastante mala, el suelo del cuarto de baño estaba levantado y lleno de humedad, en las esquinas de los techos había telarañas. Las instalaciones tanto de entrada y salida eran anticuadas y además estaban rotas, por no decir la puerta de la habitación que no tenía marco y cada vez que había algo de viento la puerta sonaba, dando una sensación de inseguridad bastante alta. Para colmo al irnos del establecimiento nos encontramos con que una de las “puertas” porque no era una puerta sino una valla, la cual estaba rota desde que llegamos, tiene puesto un candado para bicicletas el cual no sabemos cómo abrir. Llamamos en varias ocasiones al número que ofrecen y no nos cogen el teléfono, con lo que tuvimos que llamar a la policía, en lo que llamamos a la policía nos devolvieron la llamada, dándonos como respuesta que no podían venir a abrir, tras ello nos dicen que tenemos que salir por otro lado, lado que tenemos que buscar nosotros porque la única foto que nos mandan es de la calle, con suerte encontramos esa salida y esta vez si podían abrir.
Ellos refieren que el candado de la puerta no saben quien lo ha puesto y que por ese motivo no pueden abrirlo, pero no habría que poner ningún tipo de candado si las dos vallas de entrada del principio estuvieran correctamente y no rotas como estaban desde el principio.
