Parfait & irréprochable
Pros:

Au dessus des attentes.
Une propreté irréprochable, café à volonté, bagagerie, douche possible après Check-out.
Idéal pour séjours de quelques nuits

Pros:

Goede ligging in een veilige buurt niet ver van restaurants en het strand en vlakbij een meer. Vanaf hier kan je met de Uber alle bezienswaardigheden in Rio bezoeken.
Zeer ruime kamer voor 3 personen. De kamer werd iedere dag schoongemaakt.

Cons:

Er is wel wat lawaai van de straat.

Pretty good place but not a hotel
Pros:

It’s clean, safe, near bars and restaurants, and the hosts are responsive. In fact, they let me check in early because I misunderstood the left baggage/early check in. There’s free coffee at the entrance. The cleaning ladies are helpful and they go above and beyond their duties. They take on the role of receptionist and even searched for something I’d left in the first room.

The first floor queen was pretty nice except that the water didn’t drain in the shower because the tile was sloped the wrong way.

Cons:

I would normally score it a 9/10, but my wife was annoyed that it calls itself a “hotel,” which it is not. We wanted to stay in a hotel so we could ask questions about transport and excursions, but it’s basically a short term rental with no sign in front, an online checkin, multiple apartments, and is designed that way with cheap furniture, etc. We had to walk to a hostel a few times to arrange transport, etc. I’m sure the hosts could have done this, but we aren’t kids who are afraid of talking to anyone and are more comfortable with endless texting.

I realize that in 10 years most places will be like this, with codes and key boxes to enter and exit, and no one on site, but it isn’t ideal when you arrive in a foreign country for the first time, and I specifically searched for hotels.

We extended our stay because my wife’s flight got delayed a day, and for convenience sake switched to the 4th floor queen since the 1st floor was unavailable. There was a pump of some kind that makes noise every 15 minutes or so.

Vale la pena.
Pros:

Buena ubicación, pieza agradable y cumple con lo descrito. Fácil acceso y cerca de comercio y la playa (una caminata corta)

Cons:

Cuando llegamos no estaba funcionando el acceso y nos quedamos atrapados entre la reja y la puerta hasta que otro huésped salió. Al comunicarnos con el hotel lo solucionaron de inmediato, pero la comunicación no es instantánea.

Expected better
Pros:

Fantastic location in my favorite part of Rio! The area is safe and within 8 min walk to Ipanema beach.

Cons:

The whole building had a strong smell of sewage. It got very uncomfortable. The room was always very humid and almost felt like the sheets were wet. It was not very comfortable. There is only a cleaner on site and she speaks little English.

Me robaron, no lo recomiendo

Mi experiencia no fue buena, el primer dia que llegué no tenia agua caliente y tuve que bañarme con agua fria. Al dia siguiente infelizmente entraron a mi cuarto para organizarlo (yo no habia pedido limpieza) y me robaron mis aretes de oro que habia dejado sobre la mesa. No los recomiendo para nada.

Ich denke für brasilianische Verhältnisse ist es in Ordnung.
Pros:

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut.
Alles zu Fuß gut erreichbar.
Das Personal war sehr nett.
Die Inhaberin hat uns sogar geholfen die Koffer mit raus zu tragen.
Vielen lieben Dank dafür.

Cons:

Die Straße ist gut befahren, dadurch hört man oft Autos da das Haus nicht so gut isoliert ist.
