The Birchover Residences Trent Bridge are crooks. They cancelled our room which was paid for, and would not refund our money. I recieved a message that they were bought out and had to cancel all bookings. Luckily we found another room on short notice accross town.
Garbage
The company entered liquidation several weeks ago. £120 I'm unlikely to see again.
Didn’t stay as they are closed due to insolvency
As above
We did not stay at the property as we weren’t sure notified that they went into liquidation a few days before. Prior to that communication has been poor and the host never answered any queries
Nothin gone bust
Gone bust
Nothing the emailed Thursday to say they’d gone into liquidation so I had to rebook elsewhere
See above
The cleanest, location, interior
Nothing
Location, large room, nice bathroom/shower
Communications, should have known how to get in before the arrival day i did not notice any message to say i would get an email, which also let you know what basic supplies were already , for me it was early enough notto but goods before checkin. Also found someone else arrived at the same time who had not got the way to get in probably due to problem paying but they had a confirmation email
the rooms are clean and well presented, great location
This feedback was given to the owners 48 hours ago, but no response .......
Having experienced a whole evening of loud music, shouting, and screaming from the accommodation above us, I have to say how disappointed I am , certainly given the price of the accommodation - I would have expected our stay to be more comfortable than it was. there is a sign regarding noise, which leads me to believe this has been raised before - nevertheless, as a paying guest ( premium prices in terms of the market for the room ) it was a miserable experience.
I realise it was a Saturday night and that people do like to ‘party’ and the walls are so thin that any noise reverberates - with the benefit of hindsight we certainly wouldn’t have checked in here , and are unlikely to again.
Perhaps you should employ a night porter to iron out this sort of thing ?
in terms of our experience it felt as though we were in student halls, and clearly this isn’t what they are looking achieve for their guests..given the high quality accommodation and cleanliness of the place
perfect for a couple of days in the city! amazing value for money in comparison for other places in the area, would definitely come back.
a little dusty in places, but overall great- the kitchen and bathroom were spotless
Great location .. great apartment. Very clean with all one would need to have a great stay .
The room was a good size with good cooking facilities and a nice bathroom. It was a good location for the National water centre, and Nottingham city centre (and obviously Trent Bridge and the football grounds). The building fronts onto a road and as such at times the traffic noise was audible but not too loud. The little co-op down the road is a good little store - well stocked and just 2 minutes walk away.
The parking was frustrating - other people parking in the space allocated to me!
There's lots of unstaffed and anonymous self-catering places in Nottingham. This is definitely one of the best: light and airy rooms, well-placed for the city, the sports grounds and close to the shops and restaurants of West Bridgford.
