Important information:

When booking a studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom or three-bedroom apartment, guests will be located at our 4-star property on Micklegate.

For bookings made with free Cancellation, a 20% deposit is required upfront to secure the reservation, and the final balance is due one month prior to the stay.

If the booking is within the month, we require the full payment for the stay upfront. This is fully refundable up until 21 days prior to the stay. If you were to cancel the reservation between 20–9 days, you will be liable for 50% of the deposit, and if you were to cancel the stay any time after this, you will be liable for 100% of the deposit.

For advance purchase rate bookings, full payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Payment will be processed using the credit card you provided during booking on Booking.com. If payment is unsuccessful on booking, you will be notified and will have 24 hours to provide updated card details. If the details are not provided within this time, we will cancel the booking.

The property's reception opening hours are:
- Monday to Sunday: 09:30 to 18:00.

A refundable deposit of GBP 100 is needed per apartment for group bookings. This is payable one month prior to your arrival date.

Any damage or loss to the property caused by guests will incur a charge.

Guests arriving outside check-in hours will receive check-in instructions by email 1 day before arrival.

Please note that none of the rooms are suitable for wheelchair users.

Please note that some rooms are located on upper-level floors with no elevator access.

Guests can use the parking at the nearby NCP Car Park on Tanner Row, from 06:00 to 23:59.

Cons:

Very cold in January even with the heaters on downstairs, could do with some more soft furnishings in living room like a rug.

The go to place for a lone traveller looking for space and luxury at affordable price.
Pros:

I have stayed in other apartments within Lawrence portfolio but this one was great. Apartment 1. Very secure. Comfortable with a big hint of luxury.

Pros:

The apartment was very elegant, it had absolutely everything you would need.The bed was very comfortable, best night sleep we have had in a while. The apartment is in a great location easy access into the centre and you have many amenities on your door step.

Always stay at the Lawrance its a real home from home, modern and clean and great for the city.

Cons:

Worth mention the NCP no longer has discount from the Lawrance.

Fabulous place to come together for a city break.
Pros:

The apartment was conveniently situated between the train station and the city just of a quiet lane. The apartment was very secure and private with easy check in. The decor was fresh and modern with great facilities, two shower rooms comfortable large beds. The kitchen,dining and lounge area were fantastic for coming together to cook and play games in the evening. We loved it and will be booking again. Thank you!

Perfect stay, and we look forward to returning

Our third time staying at The Lawrance. Just a 5 minute walk away from the centre, but off the main road so really quiet and peaceful. Always clean and comfortable.

Great place, front of house needs work
Pros:

Visited numerous times now and the place is perfect. Great location and layout. Well within walking distance to central York. Clean comfortable and spacious.

Usually because of the check in process you don’t have much contact with check in/reception staff, but on this occasion I had to go back the next day as realised I’d left a phone charger in the room. Now it’s one thing if they didn’t find it plugged in next to the bed, but I must say the 2 girls on reception gave me no impression they were going to bother looking or asking the clean team. Found that a big let down, especially seens as I’ve stayed here on numerous occasions (not that that should matter)
