We had a lovely stay it was just what was needed.
Pros:

The house was stunning. Everything you could want and more. The view was amazing. A good base to travel around Portland and Weymouth.

Cons:

Portland itself is quite run down.
The d-day centre is amazing, the castle is worth a visit.
The marina is beautiful.
Portland bill (lighthouse) was lovely too.

Great location, lots of room for 2 families
Pros:

Beautiful view. Good quality accommodation, lots of room, great to be on the water. Lots of room for both families. Peaceful and quiet

Cons:

Would have been a nice touch if there had been some basic welcome bits - milk, bread a dishwasher tablet etc. Upstairs bedroom doesn’t have a shower and toilet was dripping in downstairs.

Fabulous base to explore the island and Weymouth.
Pros:

The apartment was clean and well laid out, with a good range of facilities. There was allocated parking which was essential given the location, the view across the harbour was fabulous and we highly recommend a visit to the D-Day Centre next door. The staff on reception were super friendly and keen to hear our feedback in person when we popped in.

Cons:

There is a helipad across the harbour which could be noisy when they were taking off and landing, but my husband was in his element watching them and we only saw about 4 during our stay. Other guests may not be as delighted by this as he was.

Pros:

You can't beat the location and view. Rooms are lovely and clean, and the apartment is kitted out with everything you need to self cater. Check in and out was really easy also. When I spoke to the lady on the phone she was really lovely and helpful too.

Cons:

The sofa was pretty grim, just needs a really good deep clean or reupholstering....or just a new sofa in there. The only other gripe I have about the cleanliness was that the dining room chairs had bits of food on the seats still. The rest of it however was spotless. I will say as well, it would be really good if there was a shower in the main bedroom.

Veel potentieel, spijtig van de verwarming

Het zicht op het water.

Cons:

De verwarming werkte niet en we konden niemand bereiken via het opgegeven noodnummer. Hadden ze bereikbaar geweest dan kon men onmiddellijk reageren.
Nu hebben we een avond in de kou moeten doorbrengen en hadden we hen geloofd zaten we 2 dagen in de shit want dat 2 was het zogenaamd opgelost maar dat was het niet!! Gelukkig zijn we gaan controleren en konden we electrische verwarmingselementen gebruiken om het op te warmen.

Obviously when you have people above you it’s always a little bit annoying but we do understand that they are little kids and exited. So not so much didn’t like it it always just a little annoying

Pros:
