Excellent base to explore the Dorset coast. It was easy to find, had good parking, and was close to a supermarket for supplies.
The stairs were a bit of a challenge - there is only one flight but its very steep so quite difficult if you need to lift your luggage one step at a time. Being asked to take out the rubbish as well and to an area well away from the building another challenge!
Man wachst mit Blick aufs Wasser auf, sehr nice!
Leider eine Helikopter Flugschule sehr nah dran, stellenweise nervig laut
The views from the apartment.
Nothing.
Nice quality accommodation, well equipped kitchen, nice views across the water from the lounge kitchen. Walking distance to 2 or 3 decent restaurants.
It’s quite a run down area, although there is some regeneration going on, it can be quite noisy with the helicopters coming and going from the heliport just opposite Crabbers wharf. Petite bathroom !!!
The apartment was spotlessly clean. Parking was allocated spaces outside the property with room for 2 vehicles. The bedroom and veranda had great views over the water and it lovely to sit and watch the sunset with the gentle sound of the waves below. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was spacious and well lit. It’s an easy picturesque flat walk to get to Weymouth, though there is a also a good bus service nearby if you don’t feel like driving
Portland Castle is virtually next door and there is an excellent hands-on D-Day Museum just outside the apartment
There was nothing to dislike about the property
Great location. Clean. Good facilities.
Could be a little more cosy.
Perfect for a circuit of the island. Brilliant relaxing on the sunny balcony. The sun streamed in to the lounge much of the evening. Lovely
Peaceful and relaxing
Lovely view
Mattress was not that comfortable. Would suggest changing it for a hybrid one.
Amazing, it's lovely accommodation with a balcony and harbour, lucky to see the sunset. Everything was there, perfect. It's nearer D-Day Museum, Portland Castle and Harbour, also, the Bill of Portland Lighthouse - suitable for anybody for a walk, hike and social pleasure. Good customer service.

Views from deck. Actual ambience lovely, a good base for short holiday break. Nicely equipped in general.
Spartan to a degree. Main settee not terribly comfortable, felt a little tired. Appreciating the naval character, it still felt short on homely touches. TV dated. Could the large map on wall be bettered by more pictorial scenes?

Brilliant views and facilities
Would have been useful to know there were stairs up to the first level as we were booking for relatives with reduced mobility.
The big sliding glass door looking right out on the water which was 15 ft away was pretty slick. Our parking spot was literally like 40ft from the entrance.
All was good.
