Perfect location with easy parking and a responsive host. The rental process was effortless from the start. The apartment was spacious, clean, and equipped with most of the essentials. It was great that every room was air-conditioned, and the automated blinds worked perfectly. Nights were quiet, and the town centre was right on the doorstep. The host kindly provided a cot and feeding chair, making it ideal for a short family stay.
We are coming to the area frequently and this will be my default choice if available.
Just a few small bits: the kitchen could be equipped a bit more thoughtfully, such as including induction compatible pans for the induction hob and a few basic items like a sieve. The Wi-Fi was also fairly slow and occasionally unreliable. These were minor issues though and didn’t take away from an otherwise very comfortable stay.
One opportunity for improvement would be adding a safety gate at the top of the stairs, which would make the apartment significantly safer for families with small children or toddlers.
This was a great apartment, and quite possibly the best we've stayed at on this trip. Here are the reasons we liked this apartment: The air conditioning worked great, even in october (when many places turn off A/C, without telling you..). They had A/C in both bedrooms, and in the living room. The apartment was very very clean. The shower was completely enclosed. There was lots of extra bedding (pillows, blankets, etc). There were shutters on all the windows for total darkness. The internet worked great. The owner was friendly, and helped us with several things. The apartment is very easily walkable to town (pastries, butcher, bakery, grocery, cafe, etc), without being directly in the center. The apartment entrance, and the parking was private behind a closed gate, which was nice. There was construction across the street, but the house was built well enough that the noise didn't bother us.
In general the apartment was great, and I would happily stay there again, but there were 3 things I would prefer they improve: The sofa was large, but rock hard. Almost like sitting on wood directly. There was no oven, or toaster oven for heating up bread, pastries (like a croissant for breakfast), etc. There was no lock between the owners office area, and the apartment. So when the owners office was open, our apartment was also open.
It was super clean, well equipped. Can only reccomend!!
