Great place to stay with a family vibe

Shower went from freezing to roasting to dressing etc.

Smell of smoke in apartment.

Bedrooms had no mirrors so tricky for ladies drying hair, doing make up etc.

Small beds and walking distance to Quay street
Pros:

Location is 15 min walk from the city hub. Reception was very nice - they are from Wetern Hotel.
It's nice that it's on a side street.

Cons:

Beds are small -they are called double, but it's a very small fit
Breakfast staff at the hotel were very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome
TV didn't work for 2 days so we couldn't watch Wold Cup :(

There were no cleaning service and for that it was too expensive in my opinion.

We found the apartment met our needs for a short stay.
Pros:

Proximity to the city centre / shops etc was good.
Size of the apartment was great.
Washing machine
Staff at Western Hotel were very helpful.

Apartment not clearly signed
No clothes drying rack
Not enough coat hangers
Thin pillows
Shower difficult to regulate an even temperature (ran hot then cold)
Not enough toilet paper for 4 people for 2 nights
No fans

Pros:

The apartment was close to town, compact but had what was needed. Relatively comfortable bed and couch.

Cons:

The many stairs, only two windows opened, one in main room, one in bedroom, but someone could just step into the bedroom window so couldn’t leave it open. The oven didn’t work, none of the buttons on it did anything, wouldn’t turn on. The coffee pod machine was broken so created a disaster and burned your fingers to use it. Our last night the next door neighbour went on a rant of banging the stairs, his door, connecting walls, floor and shouting obscenities for roughly 6 hours. Front desk didn’t come down or even call the guards. The sitting room chair had a busted leg so would just collapse on you. No salt or pepper was provided.

La posizione un po’ defilata dal centro ma molto comoda per raggiungere i posti più importanti della città. Chiedete appartamenti ai piani superiori che sono luminosi.

Cons:

Siamo state in un appartamento al piano terra poco luminoso e con una caldaia molto rumorosa . Il giorno seguente, dopo molta insistenza, ci hanno trasferito in un appartamento al primo piano, confortevole e luminoso, ma la caldaia la notte doveva rimanere spenta perché era ugualmente rumorosa. E comunque si sentiva un gocciolio continuo, per fortuna avevamo tappeti per le orecchie. Abbiamo trovato purtroppo lenzuola non pulite che sono state cambiate e ci è stata offerta una colazione.
