The rooms were spacious and bed
were comfortable.
On the day we checked in, I was facing trouble in opening the doors of the room for which I called the customer careThe staff misbehaved with us. The housekeeper shouted at my wife and refused to take out some paper trash that we had collected in a paper bag. She also shouted at me. We are extremely disappointed and will make sure never to return to your hotel again.
The rooms are huge and everything really clean. Great to have a fridge and coffee machine and kettle. Great to have cafes and restaurants and shops right there.
Nothing
Size of room and layout.
Windows that gave great light and opened so you could cool it down. Electric shutters really darkened room.
Location close to S-bahn and restaurants.
Bed basic, no pillow top or decent padding.
Pillows need to be replaced, worn.
Lack of hand soap for washing hands in bathroom.
Nice shower but really could use a shelf to place soap, shampoo, etc. Had to put these on shower floor.
Microwave would be more useful then conduction unit.
Refrigerator needs to have freezer unit.
It has everything you need!
Be careful- there are two Luxstays in Karben, this one is a bit tricky to find.
It was really nice. We enjoyed having the bakery downstairs to get food at.
It was a little cold at times, and the pots for the stove did not work until someone came and got us a new one.
It is very close to the Sbahn station and easy to go to city center and there are few markets like Aldi, Kik, Tegut etc., bakery, Doner kebab restaurants. Bathroom, kitchen were in a very good conditions.
There's no AC in the room, it was really hot and air was not moving even both windows was open.
The cleaning stuff was irregular and unpredictable, sometimes they will change the towels even I used them one day and sometimes they will not change it for more than a week, or they will take up the trash but nothing else is touched i was not sure what is going on.
Don't pay 15 euro per day in the garage, there is only automat witch is cash only and sometimes is not giving tickets, nobody is there to fix it. Across the street is parking where you can buy a parking for 12 euro per month, you can buy it on the automat but only with coins, or you can install an app and buy it online.
Loved the room, clean and spacious. Easy access too
All was good. But I couldn't see WiFi access
It's a great place to stay right in the centre of Karben with plenty of cafes nearby. Has huge roomswith sitting facilities and fridge, coffee pod machinme, kettle and everything you need not always in hotel rooms. Love it.
Nothing - there is nothing to dislike.
Cleanness
The beds were two single joined together and when I enquired the staff, they said it was a king size.
The room was spacious and well maintained. Location of the hotel is very convenient, in short walking distance from two supermarkets, a bakery, and the local train station with direct connection to downtown Frankfurt. Good, reliable, high-speed WiFi.
This is more of a public service announcement for American tourists than a dig at the hotel as it's very common for German hotels: no air conditioning. We stayed at the end of June with temps in the mid 70s, and it was almost unbearable. No fans either, so opening the windows was the only way to get some relief but that wasn't a great option either as the hotel is very close to the train station and adjacent to a noisy street and shopping area. And the bed linens were very warm on top. But then again, no A/C is pretty much par for Germany, and they didn't advertise it in the room description. Just set your expectations right.
A few more nuisances made our stay okay but not a great experience. In four days we went through more than 10 keycards. One didn't even last from the time issued to the time we reached our room door. And no, we didn't put them next to our phones. Parking is a hefty 15 euro a day (there's a parking lot across, which is free on weekends). There was an electric stove in the unit but not a more versatile microwave, which feels pretty much like table stakes. The towels felt worn and had a "softness" I'd expect at a low end budget hotel.
All in all I wouldn't mind staying again in colder months but for the hot summer months I'll be looking for other options.
The location was hard to find. The sign was quite small.
Clean, decent sized rooms. Great location right by the trains and with everything you need within walking distance.
Do NOT book this hotel in the summer! Even though it’s a brand new building, there is no air conditioning, and with being on the top floor it gets brutally hot in the evenings no matter what you try to do.
Also, parking used to be free - not anymore. Now it’s €15 per day which is insanely expensive.
Thirdly, no fresh towels are provided on Sundays, which would have been fine if we had been told beforehand but we weren’t, they just didn’t show up.
Lastly, having a kitchen is nice but other than the absolute bare minimum (2 plates, 2 cups, 2 forks, etc) there is nothing, so cooking becomes a challenge. We had to buy a can opener because not even that was provided.
Fine rooms with all equipment, location in 2 min to rail station with 30 min direct connection to Frankfurt, all necessary shops, parking and cafe nearby.
Nothing to declare.
