Rodemhouse

I was wondering should i write a review for this disappointment, but thought that the fellow travellers should know what might happen to them.

A couple of days before my stay I was contacted by the property advising me that i need to go to a different address from the one I booked. When I asked for clarification, I received the following explanation:
“This is your room because l closed that previous business but l make your room instead of Rodemhouse to complete your booking. Room condition is so good to stay and larger and private.”

As you can imagine, this wasn’t exactly reassuring. Still, I decided to go ahead and hope for the best.

The “property” turned out to be a private studio in a block of flats, not a guesthouse. It had a small kitchen area with basic equipment and a fridge, but no place to sit and eat or work. The wardrobe was half-full of blankets and linens, and there was only one coat hanger provided. There was a large TV, if that’s important to you. Unfortunately, the room also had an issue with mosquitos, which made the stay rather uncomfortable.

The most unacceptable part came when I tried to take a shower - there was no hot water. To be fair, communication was quick, but the first “solution” offered was that I should go to another building to shower, apparently only a 6-minute walk away. Completely unreasonable. After several messages and photos exchanged, I eventually located the switch myself and got the hot water working.

Between the mosquitos, the bait-and-switch change of location, and the DIY plumbing, this stay was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
If you book here and receive a last-minute message with a new address and a creatively worded explanation, run. Or at least pack a mosquito net, a coat hanger, and a thermos of hot water — you’ll need them.

Brak możliwości regulowania klimatyzacji i bardzo mały pokój.

I don’t believe there was a/c and the room got really hot, there was dust and cobwebs on vents and light shade, no desk or space to sit, the bathroom was tiny and the bed was probably harder than the floor.

排水口から、小さいムカデ1回、蚊が1回、上がってきました。都度退治しましたが気持ちのいいものではありません。
