Affordable basic apt in good location but hard to keep clean or see with poor lighting at night
Pros:

Handy location for shops, transit, and not far to walk to the beach

Cons:

Service was poor- especially on check in when the room reserved was not shown to us until the 3rd try. Receptionists otherwise were good and helpful with translation on the cell phone. No cleaning, toilet paper or supplies to clean were available until requested for toilet paper. Hand soap supplied, cold water in sinks, first room had a very noisy heat pump and poor toilet. Dishes and pans were insufficient for 4 people, lighting very poor, we had to supply batteries for the heat pump and 'TV remote plus dish soap. Laundry available for 1 Euro. Parking on street hard to find at times. No way to clean floors, smoke from next apt very hard to take Beach very damaged by recent storm- lots of debris-garbage still to be removed.

Dat er zo ontzettend vriendelijk personeel was die dag en nacht voor je klaar staat, ook heb ik veel Turkse vrienden en bekenden die ik gewoon mocht ontvangen in mijn Appartement voor gezelligheid op het balkon , samen ontbijten of als je samen een leuke avond op het balkon een drankje en hapje wilt doen en iemand wil blijven slapen kon dat voor 300 Turkse Lira extra ... Geweldig! 😀

Pros:

Het personeel is super attent en vriendelijk. Ze doen hun uiterste best voor hun gasten.

Cons:

Het hotel op zich is totaal niet wat de website aangeeft. Is echt sterk verouderd, toilet spoelt niet, moest telkens aan de stortbak rammelen, werd absoluut niet schoongemaakt en de dekens zijn vreselijk. Investeren in deftig beddengoed is wellicht een goed idee.

Could have been better
Pros:

The reception and pool area were very good, poolside was a sun trap, November and got a couple of hours out there most days. That's the good part.
The apartment left a lot to be desired, sheets not big enough for bed, cutlery poor example only 1 spoon, glass, no cups.
Lead for kettle didn't reach the socket had to balance it on a pan. Grips in electric sockets worn when put adapter and phone to charge the came away from socket. Kitchen sink was dirty. Bathroom had shower but no curtain, could only use cold tap on basin by using the valve at the back of it not the tap. Windows filthy, they and the door need replacing.
The place as so much potential but lacks investment, can see it been redeveloped in a few years.

No frills option for easygoing traveller
Pros:

YHA-standard apartments with a swimming pool. Great location near the city center, 10 minutes' walk to the beach, decent Wi-Fi, friendly personnel. The place was not dirty. If you are not fussy, and if you can book at a discount (prices on booking.com for this place are kind of volatile) this can work for you.

Cons:

The hotel was probably built in the 70-ies, so everything is kind of old. The rooms are very very tired - I have seen 3 when checking in. There is quite a bit of noise from the street, and a construction site next door. There is some noisy equipment inside the building, it did keep me up at night - so if you re a light sleeper, might not work.
