Pros:

A wonderful, comfortable stay with exceptional service and a convenient location - truly a home away
Pros:

We loved how centrally located Wadano Gateway is! It’s very convenient for accessing both the slopes and Happo One village. The concierge team was exceptional and went out of their way to help arrange transport around Happo One for us, especially as our son was on crutches due to an injury. Their support made our stay much easier and more comfortable.

The room was a great size for our family of four, very cozy, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. We also really appreciated the complimentary laundry facilities, which are incredibly useful for a ski trip. Most of all, every member of staff was warm, accommodating, and genuinely helpful with anything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Cons:

If I had one small suggestion, it would be to offer a Japanese breakfast option. Since we don’t visit Japan often, it would have been nice to experience a more local breakfast rather than a Western one, which we can easily get elsewhere. That said, this is only a minor point and does not take away from what was otherwise a superb stay.

Pros:

Breakfast was small but nice; a different 'cooked' option every day e.g. smoked salmon & cream cheese muffins, ham and cheese croissants, eggs etc. All very tasty. Location was good - walkable into the Hakuba 'village' and up to the ski lifts too although there was a handy shuttle too.

Cons:

Occasionally the staff were a little disorganised (our room didn't get cleaned when they said it would and breakfast was a little chaotic a couple of days) however they made up for it with friendliness and helpfulness.

Good accomodation location, reception staff were great

The location and homey feel was very inviting. The reception staff were amazing and very accomodating

Cons:

the breakfast staff were terrible, no matter what time we planned to go to breakfast they never had anything stocked, had to ask for simple things like bread, milk, cutlery, coffee cups, juices. The staff were just standing on their phones, or at a few points were just standing in a group outside the bar. They never greeted us or asked if we wanted the specials we had to ask, when we asked for food they would act like it was a hindrance to them, just replying with “ugh”. They were quite rude and made the stay at the apartment unenjoyable for breakfast

Very spacious, well equipped and cozy.

Cons:

I had to wait over an hour to get my keys due to receptionist making a shuttle run. In there defense I did arrive a bit earlier than I informed them, however I could not get ahold of anyone else.additionally, the bar and restaurants were closed due to it being the beginning of the season. I don’t think that info was made aware upon booking.
