We think the staff should stay a night to evaluate the shortcomings themselves!
Cons:

Small, but irritating shortcomings. The toaster didn't work, several lightbulbs not working, no heating instructions, shower tending to flood the bathroom floor. Very noisy with other occupants running up and down the stairs and slamming doors.

Gorgeous huge apartment over three floors, overlooking public gardens.
Pros:

Gorgeous huge apartment over three floors, overlooking lushly vegetated public gardens. The living room alone was larger than most rental properties. We had the top floor apartment with a roof terrace, which was perfect. Nice touch to have a bottle of rose wine and of Madeira waiting for us. Large supermarket (Pingo doce) within 3 minutes walk, plus plenty of restaurants. The weather was just as we hoped for as a mind-winter escape: ca. 19 degrees, sunny and the sea was lovely for a daily swim (nice sheltered cove just by Forte de São Tiago - a 25 minute walk along the sea front).

Cons:

The fuse blew if you had both a hob ring and oven on maximum, but this wasn't a huge problem as we weren't making large meals.

Sehr geräumige Ferienwohnung mit großem Schlafzimmer, großer voll ausgestatteter Küche und riesigen Wohnzimmer. Badezimmer groß, einfach.
Lage phantastisch: direkt am Park, nur wenige Meter zu Restaurants, Hafen, Bushaltestellen, Madeira -Weinmuseum

Pros:

We had to wait outside of the apartment for over an hour and a half past check in time because the room was not ready and there were actively cleaning staff in the space. We were told to wait at a local coffee shop but had just brought all our luggage up to the stairs and did not want to leave all our belongings with strangers. The staff seemed lovely but that felt too high risk. We were just told too bad and that it wasn’t the property managers fault.

Parquet qui fait du bruit quand on marche dans l’appartement.
J’ai un handicap à une jambe et on était au 3 eme étage. Mais on a adoré l’appartement malgré tout.
