Perfect location to explore a wonderful city
Pros:

Staff were amazing and helpful. Views from the balcony made the apartment work perfectly. Great location so close to the key attractions but a quiet location.

Cons:

Kitchen provided is great but no plates or cutlery as shown in the picture for the Junior Suite. No microwave either as listed in the details on Booking.com. We chose this suite in the hope we could have some meals in the room or on the balcony. In the end it did not spoil the stay and we would chose it again but please deliver what you advertised.

Menar Hotel offers comfortable rooms in the old city. Ideally located for visiting the must sees.
Pros:

The location was very good. The staff was friendly. The apartement was clean.

Cons:

The pictures used for the advertisement on booking.com are misleading. They are not the actual hotel.

Istanbul is amazing and Menar Hotels made it that much better!

The staff were excellent. Location is ten out of ten. Breakfast was stunning. Room was wonderful. Will be returning.

Excellent place to stay !
Pros:

Location was fantastic !!! So close to walk to all sultanamet tourist sites. Also walking distance to grand bazaar. Junior suite was very clean and looked new, comfortable cozy and nice to have a sofa living area, dining table and kitchenette. Staff were so friendly. Complimentary hot tea / coffee after coming back from chilly evening walks.

Cons:

Nothing much. Maybe only that could not locate English channels on the TV - not very important.

Pros:

Excellent location. Great Sea view from the Balcony. Helpful and freindly staff with great English. Free Coffee and Tea throughout stay. Made to order Mezze breakfast.

Cons:

Some of the fixtures and fittings a bit tired. Could do with attention of a maintenance man to correct in a few hours. All was working, just a bit of work to get a higher rating. Provided breakfast was adequate and unique in its own way, but would expect a bit more selection to choose from and specifically options for Ceoliacs.

I mostly liked the staff. They are very helpful and understanding. Baram, Emir and Kadir, among many who made sure my stay was comfortable. I even got a complimentary breakfast and endless tea and advice about where to go and what to see.

Lovely stay in Istanbul Old Town
Pros:

Great hotel in old Town, close to main sights. Room/suite is modern, very clean and very comfortable. Hotel is at corner of very quiet street. Staff was great! Knowledgeable and helpful!

Cons:

Breakfast is not included and costs 15 Euros which is very expensive.

Pros:

Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist genial, das Zimmer sauber und modern.
Das Service ist 1A…die Abholung am Flughafen hat bestens funktioniert, der Preis entspricht dem was ein Taxi auch kosten würde… aber der große Vorteil ist, dass der Transporter weiß wo das Hotel ist.
Auch der Rücktransport zum Flughafen war perfekt organisiert – alles bestens.

Das Zimmer schaut Richtung Marmara Meer, der Balkon ist angenehm groß…es ist aber keine Ruhelage.
Man hört den Verkehr, aber es ist nicht störend.
Aber in einer 15 Mio Metropole wird das höchstwahrscheinlich unvermeidbar sein.

Cons:

Eigentlich gibt es nichts zu kritisieren.

I loved the location, the modern big size rooms, and the views both of the sea and the mosque (different rooms)

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay, It is located on a very quiet street, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The hotel is also very close to most of the main attractions, which made exploring easy.

Mouldy Room
Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

My room was very mouldy - the mould was of a significant amount which suggested it had been there for some time as well as being very obvious and therefore something that cleaning staff should have noticed. The shower was also dirty with a hair left in it when I arrived, and when I first used the shower, large chunks of dirt also appeared in the water. Would not recommend staying here due to the dirtiness and mould.
