Wir mussten zusätzlich 150€ zahlen für Handtücher waschen, Elektrizität, usw. Dazu werde ich noch eine Reklamation schreiben

Pros:

Gute Lage, nettes Ambiente, gutes Frühstücks- und Abendessesangebot und trotzdem susreixhend Küchenutensilien uum selber kochen (Appartement 34).

Cons:

Der Krach am Strand von Freitagabend bis Sonntagabend.

Pros:

Die Lage zum Strand ist natürlich perfekt. Interessante Wohnung auf zwei Etagen. Klimaanlagen gingen gut. Waschmaschine hat auch funktioniert. Eine extra Toilete (inkl. Waschbecken) war natürlich sehr praktisch. Parkplätze waren vorhanden (gegen Aufpreis).

Cons:

Man wollte mir beim Check-Out ganze 10% extra für eine Endreinigung aufschlagen (inkl. Strom, und Wasserverbrauch). Habe ich natürlich nicht gezahlt, nachdem nichts davon irgendwo schriftlich festgehalten ist. Ganz im Gegenteil, leider wird garnichts gereinigt, oder die Handtücher gewechselt (wie das bei anderen Hotels/Appartements standardmäßig inkludiert ist; genauso wie die Endreinigung). Die Wohnung war auf zwei Etagen, wobei die Holztreppe sehr, sehr laut ist. Man hört sowieso alle Personen die gerade laut in dem Haus sind.

Beautiful set of 5 historic villas in a beautiful town.

Cons:

The main problem was the inaccurate information on both booking.com and the accommodation website. The apartment was dark with small windows, promising a view of the garden, but the windows were so high that the client had to stand on a chair. The quality/price ratio was absolutely not up to par. Cleaning service is non-existent, towel change is also non-existent (we only had 4 large towels for 6 people). Internet was mostly weak. The villa is beautiful from the outside, in the original beautiful garden, but it is covered with gravel and used as a parking lot. There is a lack of benches and space for children.

Conclusion: A fantastic location, spacious apartment, and good basic amenities – but with a clear need for modernization
Pros:

We chose Villa Spiaggia for several reasons that were important to us: its direct proximity to the beach, the availability of a parking space, the architectural charm of the building, and the fact that it seemed well-suited for traveling with a small child.

Our apartment was located on the second floor and featured a small terrace with a beautiful sea view – definitely one of the highlights. The apartment itself was very spacious, which we especially appreciated with a toddler. It was also well-equipped with household utensils and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

However, we found the interior design to be somewhat questionable in terms of whether it’s still up to date. While the furniture is of high quality, it is clearly aging. The sofa and armchairs were quite worn out – we honestly feel sorry for anyone who has to sleep on that couch. With a thoughtful redesign using contemporary brands like Minotti or B&B Italia, the house could truly become a modern gem.

As for cleanliness, there were a few issues: dust under the bed, cobwebs behind the curtains, and cleaning supplies had been left behind on the bedside table. The hallway was not swept at all during our stay, and a cleaning product we placed outside the door was only picked up after two days. These small details indicate a lack of attention in the cleaning process.

We paid €2,000 for the week, plus €400 in additional fees. While the location is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in Grado, the property itself is showing its age and would benefit from some updates and a closer eye on cleanliness.
