Lovely place for a quiet weekend getaway. Serenity!
Pros:

Cozy and quiet property perfect for a relaxing weekend retreat. Place was beautiful and clean, had everything you needed for a few days stay. Nice location that’s about 20-30 minutes away from Margaret River / Dunsborough for activities during the day but we didn’t mind the drive - the place was worth it!

Cons:

Bathroom stays pretty damp even with the extraction fan on and window open so towels didn’t dry well even in the summer, but we ended up hanging them outside to dry after each use. The plug in the bathtub has a rather tall knob so be extra careful you don’t hurt yourself on it!

Modern comfortable chalet with rustic touches set in serene bush land.
Pros:

Our second stay at Simala, it was so wonderful to return and see how all the trees and shrubs have grown. We love the peaceful surroundings which seem so far away from the business of nearby towns yet close enough. A big bonus is the availability of massages on site.

Cons:

Nothing we can think of.
A little disappointing not to have a bottle of wine and fresh loaf of bread awaiting us on arrival as we did on our first visit.

Great location. Peaceful surrounds and very clean.
Pros:

Lovely peaceful location and very clean. The birds and other animals on the property were amazing to watch in the morning and afternoon.
Owners were very tentative.

Needed beach towels and would be good to have blockout curtains in the bedroom. The sun rises early and in summer I wake with the sunlight entering the room (5:15am).

The most perfect stay in Margaret River
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful chalets, designed with style for a relaxing stay. Everything was perfect from super comfortable beds, through the kitchen setup and superb bathroom with shower and a great bath for soaking. We really enjoyed every moment of the stay, and can’t thank Simone and Alan enough for the welcome we received, great massage, food and wine recommendations, help getting a cake for a birthday. Made for a truly memorable stay. If you want to visit Margaret River wine country and stay away from it all, it still a 5-10 minute drive to some world class wineries this is your spot.

Nothing - loved it all.

Pros:

Great space, very relaxing and private and located in the heart of everything you want to visit. Accommodation was great, spacious without being too big. Great bed . You felt like you were a part of nature.

Amazing stay.
Pros:

Simone and Alan were absolutely amazing, along with their friendly dog Otto. We were given very clear instructions as to how to access the property. The land is beautiful and offers a very relaxed vibe with the option to walk through the forest. Location was brilliant. The accommodation was very comfy with everything you need plus more. I would highly recommend staying here
