Pros:

Directly next to West Lake. Quite the loud street but you can expect a lot of cafés and restaurants just by foot. Upgraded my room for free and I was helped when asked.

Cons:

Rooms are self serviced. Means the rooms will be checked and cleaned but you're mostly on your own. It is like a vacation apartment but in a homestay hotel. Don't expect Hotel Europe Standards. You have a really good price to value ratio.

Needs updating and a deep clean
Pros:

Excellent location in a lovely spot by the lake. Great view from the balcony. Able to leave luggage although not in a secured spot. Good sized room with adequate facilities.

Cons:

Overall rundown and grubby. Pictures do not reflect current state of the property. All Furniture was worn out and stained. Drawers and cupboards were dirty. Toilet leaked water all over the bathroom when shower was used. Neighbour had a stereo on full blast from 07.00 in the morning which woke us and kept us awake.

Pros:

Diese Option fand ich recht ansprechend. Es ist eine relativ gute Unterkunft und deutlich besser als die beengten Hotels in der Fußgängerzonne.

Cons:

Die Lobby ist klein. Der Parkplatz ist klein, aber das ist verständlich.

Beware....there are much better options in Hanoi
Pros:

Lake View, if its important to you....but not great

Cons:

Location is too far from the action of Old Town. The street is very noisy outside. The apartment was not clean, it was updated at some point years ago, but it hasn't been kept up. I had to kill roaches, and had biting bugs while in bed, in which I asked for another room. They only handed me a can of bug killer. I really don't like giving bad reviews....but please be aware, cost is not everything.

Pros:

Great location, right next to the lake

Cons:

The bed sheets were stained, when I asked for replacements they just brought different, still stained sheets which I refused and was told there were no more! I ended up getting given a mattress topper for a bed sheet, which was not fitted and was uncomfortable to sleep on as kept sliding around while I was sleeping! Also it's a very busy area, right next to a road with beeping motorbikes constantly going past until past midnight! There is also construction work nearby that will wake you up early in the morning!
