Exceptional Service Makes All the Difference
Pros:

The front desk staff and manager were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I was kindly upgraded to a one-bedroom suite, which was a wonderful surprise. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable humming noise during the day coming from the building next door, which was obviously beyond Discovery’s control.

What impressed me most was how quickly and professionally the front desk team responded to my concern. They went out of their way to ensure I was moved to a better room for my second night, and I truly appreciated their efforts and excellent customer service.

This was my third stay at Discovery, and it continues to be one of my preferred choices because of its convenient location. Most importantly, it’s the people who make the difference - the staff consistently provide warm, attentive, and thoughtful service that keeps me coming back.

Cons:

My biggest frustration was having my key card repeatedly deactivated before the official checkout time. After breakfast and coffee outside, I urgently needed to use the restroom but could not access my room. I had to return to the front desk three times while one staff member handled a busy check-in/check-out queue. The delays caused me to be late for my 2 PM appointment.

The hotel feels dated. My room had no meaningful view, only a neighboring wall, and the bathtub was not clean upon arrival. The TV was small and poorly positioned, and I nearly hit my face on the minibar/microwave partition at eye level. Some damaged mirror sections appeared to be covered with printed signage, making the room look poorly maintained. The leg press machine in the gym also appeared to be malfunctioning, and there was no staff available to assist.

The indoor pool was small, had no view, and felt uncomfortably hot. I paid over ₱5,000 for one night without breakfast, and even the four small water bottles provided were not enough for one guest overnight.

Overall, I did not find the stay to be good value for money and would not return.
