Absolutely fabulous
Pros:

It was lovely. Well positioned for both the old and new town. It was comfortable and I loved the frescoes

Cons:

The stairs were very steep. We managed but if you were not agile you would struggle

A good location in Bergamo but arrive early as no late check-in.
Pros:

The location is very good for the citta alta. A short walk uphill to the beautiful old town. A bus stop is conveniently located a few steps away for the station or the airport etc.

Cons:

The trip was rather spoiled by the fact that we could not check in until the second day of our trip due to the late time of our arrival in Bergamo. Our flight landed at 21.30 and check-in finishes at 19.00. There is no flexibility on this and no entry by code or pre arrival check-in like other places we had stayed. We stayed elsewhere the first night but it was not ideal to change accommodation on a short trip. The information was not clear enough on bookings.com as regards the lack of flexibility about check-in. Most places in the hospitality business will have a late check-in option in place but not this one. This is something to be aware of if you are arriving after 19.00 or might encounter a delay.

Great experience
Pros:

Exceptional customer service offered by our host Mony, with a commitment to making our stay comfortable. Impeccable cleanliness, room was spotless, and the facilities were well maintained. Bed was extraordinary cosy and was located on the mezzanine floor from were you can admire the beautiful frescoes in detail. The placement of the location is very close to the main attractions of the city.

Cons:

Things were perfect. Nothing to add.

Pros:

Wonderful location near gate to marvellous Città Alta, with shops, restaurants, as well as cathedral, churches, ancient old streets, palazzos ...; window on fairly busy road but not disturbingly so. Extraordinary frescoes from the Renaissance periods around the mezzanine bedroom! Location in what had been a medieval/Renaisance town house. Cute compact kitchen area.

Cons:

There was just the one sofa to sit on and it has a hard wooden back - there were a couple of cushions but by no means enough!!

excellent location of the apartment, walking distance to the upper city, university park nearby. academy carrara nearby, it's a pity that it was closed during this period. walk from the apartment to the railway station 20-25 minutes.

Cons:

high steps to the gallery in the apartment, not very convenient to go up and down.Travelers need to be aware of this.
