Stunning location and views. Wonderful large roof terrace. Pool was gorgeous. Never busy shared with a small number of other people. 417 steps to the town of Atrani but well worth it. Atrani and Ravello were gorgeous and not crowded. Luciano was very helpful always on hand when needed. Easy to get to other places nearby. A tunnel to walk through directly to Amalfi. Boat ride to Capri and Positano. Minori also very lovely
Would really have been nice to have some fruit and a couple of ice cold drinks in the fridge on arrival as its a bit of a walk to the nearest shop
Geweldige locatie en bijzonder appartementencomplex. Eigen stoelen aan het zwembad. Directe verbinding naar het dorp via paden en trappen.
Tafels en stoelen op de terrassen waren oud en niet goed schoon te krijgen. Parasol was kapot.
The views are absolutely exceptional, our apartment was large, cool and comfortable and the pool is stunning.
Luciano who hosts the property is friendly, amenable and happy to help with any questions you may have.
Yes, there are steps to negotiate to and from Atrani but they really don’t take the fitness of a marathon runner to climb and it’s the Amalfi Coast; the hills are one of the reasons it’s so beautiful.

The atmosphere was gorgeous and calm
The stairs
This property was gorgeous we stayed in the highest villa which had stunning views and was so cute. The host Luciano was absolutely wonderful, got us everything we need and even made us a restaurant recommendation that we ended up loving! The pool is an amazing bonus we used it a lot especially on those hot days so convenient to have right there and you only share it with the other villas so you have a designated spot everyday. The view truly never gets old and made the climbs up and down enjoyable. It was so peaceful!
The steps! We did get used to it, but just so you know if you stay at the highest mountain property you have the most steps to get down to Atrani. You just have to be strategic about when you are going down and making sure you have everything you need.
The stove is old school you have to light the gas so I recommend the property getting a bbq lighter to make lighting it easier.
It would also be great if the property came with salt and pepper we had olive oil provided but would make cooking easier with a few more basics.
Beautiful property, perfect location
Nothing
The location is stunning, so beautiful and peaceful.
Luciano is welcome and very helpful. Our apartment was spacious and clean and had all we needed. The pool was perfect, sunbeds comfortable.
Had no issues at all, incredible stay.
.
Lovely building high up above Atrani. Could do with a little updating and was definitely on the basic side in terms of facilities. Our apartment lacked outside space except for a small table and chairs by front door. Decor, plumbing and electrics could all do with some investment.
As mentioned above, it was on the basic side and needing some updating. You’ve got to like walking up / down steps (400+) to get anywhere. Lack of outside space was a little disappointing. Getting in and out of the drive requires good driving skills on the very steep and narrow drive.
Upea näkymä, erilainen paikka "hotellille". Rauhallinen sijainti. Avulias Luciano.
Meitä ei haitannut, mutta kylään, jossa kaupat ja ravintolat sijaitsevat, on n.377 rappua. Kannattaa varautua siihen, että joutuu vähän kuntoilemaan...
Residence Villa Rosa was magical. The space is incredible, the breeze through the balcony doors is fantastic, and the view is unmatched. Luciano was an amazing host who went above and beyond for our family. Check-in was seamless and an easy process. Luciano provided a fantastic overview of the property.
Upon arrival, Luciano met us at the entry gate. He brought our luggage down to the apartment using his gator and was gracious enough to provide my Mother a ride. The steps and slope to get to the Villa are no joke. It is a very difficult walk/climb.
We had family at a nearby Villa. Ravello/Atrani has a walkway that connects many Villas and Atrani. This walkway made access to our extended family much easier. The walkway and steps are challenging, so you'll need to be in good shape to use them.
Overall, when you plan your stay, plan ahead for transportation. Smaller cars will pick you up at your apartment; however, we found that some Vans (our group of 5) will not go into the Villa gate for pickup.
The pool is lovely and easy to use: they provide strict use hours.
I must state again how helpful Luciano was to our family. My Mother is 80 years old, and she would not have been able to get to the apartment or climb to leave without his help and the use of his Gator.
The apartment was very clean; the kitchen had many useful appliances, and the stove and oven were a bit confusing for me as an American. There wasn't a coffee machine, which was a disappointment; however, you could use a kettle.
The laundry services would be hard to use: It is up many steps and only provides a washer. I wouldn't plan on using it because the access is very difficult.
We truly loved the stay! I would say that access to the Villa, slope, and stairs is a feature the Villa can't do anything about, but someone booking must be aware of.
Ruim, schoon en vriendelijk contact
Toch iets gehorige muren
The view was stunning
Pool was cold and apartment a bit out dated
Very clean, the space is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. The 400 steps is not steep so it was not that big of a deal. And if we were too tired we took the bus and walked down to the place.
The vue was memorable, and Luciano did an excellent job as s host to explain everything.
You need to be in good shape because there are many steps to walk up and down but it is beautiful.
Luciano who met us to check in and out was very nice.
The view was nice.
We arrived for our honeymoon on April 15th and nearly everything was a major disappointment. The apartment was eerie, extremely sparsely furnished, and had a strong musty smell that made it feel unclean. It's a lot more empty and eerie than the photos look. And not even a TV to watch.
We were shocked to be told on arrival that the pool was closed “out of season,” despite the 20+degree April weather. This was not clearly stated on Booking.com, which felt extremely misleading given the high price paid. Management’s response was dismissive and unhelpful, simply repeating that it was out of season and then they ignored my follow up email of me asking where it said the months on the website... very unprofessional.
I then had to file a dispute with booking.com who tried to reach out to the property and they never responded so booking.com gave us a 60 euro refund as a courtesy but this did not even cover the 100 euro cover we had to pay a different hotel in Amalfi to use their pool for the day. At least booking.com were professional enough to make up for this apartment's fault.
The apartment was also dusty (especially bedside tables), and the front door rattled loudly in the wind, making it sound like someone was entering during the night which was scary.
Also, beware they have a weird 50 euro extra check out fee if you check out too early.
Save your money and go elsewhere, we wish we had because even though the view is nice, you're not really looking at it for long enough to justify the price of the place.
Overall, very poor value and extremely unprofessional handling of complaints.
