Great facilities. Unlikely to stay again due to the increased price and past experience.

The facilities for the kids were great.

Cons:

When entering the room and unpacking, I noticed there were Gnats/Fruit flies everywhere in the kitchen. Noticeably around the sink. When I let the reception know, the solution was bug spray from Housekeeping as there were no other rooms. Housekeeping explained that it is likely since it is a ground floor unit. I don't believe that this was the case as the bugs were in the kitchen and not on the patio or lounge closest to the door. When pulling the sheets up from one of the single beds, a cockroach ran out. In my opinion it was not worth mentioning further as there was nothing else that could be done based on previous solution. Perhaps a complimentary coffee or drink may have been a little bit more welcoming when there was an unsolvable bug issue. I understand I booked a "low floor" room, however I think there should be differentiation between Low and Ground floor rooms.

Pros:

The pool was perfect for kids, the cafe is yummy, the rooms were clean and tidy, the beds soft, the beach access was a nice wee stroll across the road, and the neighbourhood was very handy and felt safe -cannot recommend Kirra Beach enough.

It was fine. Wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Location was good for Kirra and the beach.
Pool wasn’t as big as it looks in the pictures but the kids liked it.
Free bikes, surfboards and boogie boards were a hit with the kids.

Cons:

The accomodation was quite dated. I am 5ft 6inch and I could touch the ceilings in our apartment just by stretching - our apartment was dark, the air conditioning is only in the main area so was hot in the bedrooms and the person sleeping on the sofa bed was blasted all night by the a/c.

Was ok but probably won’t be back
Pros:

Good location, plenty of undercover parking, comfortable beds

Cons:

Smelled damp & musty, most likely from water dripping from air-conditioner, didn’t like being hassled to go to a timeshare presentation while on my holiday, pool water didn’t look very clean, had foamy scum on the top of the water so didn’t want to swim in it

Lovely family apartment and great facilities
Pros:

Great family hotel , lovely staff , close to beach. Loved our stay so much and highly recommend
Provided bikes , boogie boards and umbrellas as part of staying

Cons:

Water dripping from the air-conditioning onto to the carpet , and onto the kitchen bench. Let reception know but not much they could do. Small mould starting where the air-conditioning is dripping
Will try and sign you up to time share , promised a voucher to attend but never received. Did receive a bottle of wine attending the time share presentation. Pretty pushy in the meeting
