Studio ARTURO Interlaken

We entered Studio ARTURO just around 2 pm. It wasn’t ready after the previous guest, but we thought…NBD, because check-in time was 3PM. Msgd the host through Booking that we’d left our luggage inside, as per instructions, and would be back in a few hours. Returned at 6:30 PM, but it’d still not been cleaned! Followed up multiple times with the host through Booking. Radio silence on the messages. Also called the property number but got a recorded message in German. Left multiple vms. No response. Wrote again asking for a full refund as it was getting late and we wanted to try going to another hotel. Also wrote to Booking Customer Service directly.


Finally got a response from the host, offering Studio ANDY next door and an extra night due to the cleaning issue. We took up the offer and asked for 1 night’s refund instead, as our dates were fixed. We got the refund, which took several messages and calls to both the host and Booking to get them to get in touch with each other to confirm the exact refund amount.


Were it not for this cleaning/communication snafu (which was *really* stressful and frustrating in the moment) and time lost, we would rate our stay in Studio ANDY 10/10. The host’s offer of recompense was very much appreciated and the apt itself was excellent. And when the host did communicate, they were very polite and helpful.


The apt is very close to Interlaken West station and Interlaken Zentralplatz bus stop. There’s also a Coop nearby. No issues with outside light as some other reviewers mentioned – there are metal blinds which open/close using buttons.


I'm hoping our experience was an anomaly because we'd gladly stay here again.

Good location, near the train station and bus stop. Locate in the city center.

Great location as central to everything in Interlaken ( but up a lane-way behind the post office so needed to close window at night). Small but adequate kitchenette with fridge, cook top and oven (no microwave) so we could prepare our own breakfast. Coffee machine and pods provided - fantastic. Comfortable bed. Close to supermarket and shops and restaurants. 5 Min walk to Interlaken West.

Great communication and perfect location for local town. Reviews said it was loud street however we did not experience this at all. Bed was super comfy and shower was good.

Close to everything, train station, restaurants and supermarket.
Reasonable sized room. Small kitchenette was handy for our longer stay.

The location was great, close to shops, station and restaurants. Decent apartment size with cooking facilities and other amenities.

Proximity to interlaken west station(5 minutes walk) and to all stores made our stay pleasant and memorable.
Apartment had a lift that made it easy with luggages and it had all the comforts and amenities.
Really an exceptional apartment for the price.

Good location, coffee machine, check in process was fast.

Cozy place, near supermarket with a basic facilities provided which you could cook etc.

Good location, good condition, very kind

Location is excellent and the host, Mario, is GREAT. Location is great but there are many other options at this price point. The picture seems to show 2 beds but there is only ONE BED. see below.

The location of this apartment was in the heart of Intertaken and only a 5 minute walk from the Interlaken West railway station. Restaurants, shops, grocery store - all at the doorstep. Very modern apartment and well appointed with everything we needed. Big enough and comfortable for a couple. No air-conditioning, and we were there in a heatwave, so the fan in the room was appreciated. Mario, the host, was there to meet us on time and was very helpful, communicating regularly via What'sApp.
