Location
The way how they treat customer, they only emphasize what is not allowed, there are signs everywhere about what is not allowed. Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. There is practically no mobile phone signal on location.
The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the ski lifts and they also offer a free shuttle service to reach those ski lifts in the morning and the afternoon.
The ski room is great, it has a structure to dry and keep your boots warm overnight and enough rooms for skis and snowboards.
The spa is very good too with two saunas, two hot tubs and 4 beds to rest. Enough showers and extra sun lounges to chill or put your stuff.
We booked the smallest apartment because it was only the two of us and it was just perfect.
I’ve seen a lot of comments complaining about the €100 deposit in cash and all the “rules” but everything gets already communicated in advance and to be honest, wherever you go you have to follow some “rules” and respect the place you’re staying. Taking the rubbish out and making sure the kitchen is left in decent conditions is a reasonable request, I didn’t find it too strict or extreme as most of other people said.
Staff was very polite, even cleaners said hello and good morning when saying us walking around. Receptionist was very polite too, they also changed the date of my stay with only a few days notice as I had an unexpected emergency at work so I’m very thankful for that.
With the place being very isolated it’s very quite too which is a plus when you have a trip in the mountains. We could hear some people from the other rooms next to us sometimes in the evening but no major noise during sleep time.
We had a really good experience and since we wanted to do the Sellaronda, this place was perfect because the ski lifts next to it are a great place to start the sellaronda in both directions. I think you can also do the grande guerra from there in both directions, all starting from campolungo lifts.
Corvara is only a few minutes drive, it’s a lovely little mountain village that has everything you need.
There’s literally NOTHING I didn’t like about this place.
The only negatives are about some guests - which is not the hotels responsibility - while in the spa there were a lot of people having very LOUD conversations while in the hot tub and there were a lot of old men using the sauna and walking around the spa completely naked which I feel it’s a bit extreme especially because there was a couple of young ladies that left as soon as they experienced that.
Also people not taking showers before the jacuzzi and going straight into the hot tub all sweaty.. regardless all the signs in the wellness centre, some guests didn’t have any sense of common sense or respect.
But again, nothing to complain about the place, everything has been amazing!
Hotel zapewnia Skibus.
Decent location between Arabba and Alta Badia for skiing.
Many strict rules. Rooms are outdated. Guests shouldn't be penalized for the building's problem of mold. Forcing the guests to prop the windows open to prevent mold makes the rooms very cold in the winter. Also staff hours seemed limited. When there was a need for something you have to go to a different hotel.
Das Frühstück war gut
Gibt nichts negatives zu sagen
