Extremely expensive for what it is and felt overcharged, this hotel should have been no more than £100 given the poor quality breakfast and lack of amenities, however it was double that cost. The bed wasn’t even king size, it was double. Pretty disappointed.

It was spotless throughout and the rooms were beautifully decorated.
I liked everything.
The room was well set out and had everything you would ever need. We were there for a wedding which I would highly recommend the venue for.
We couldn't get the TV to work which wasn't an issue as we were only there for 1 night.
The rooms were spacious and had plenty of amenities. It was very clean. Reception staff were lovely when checking in. Lots of car park spaces.
Woken up at 8am by loud music coming from a nearby gym on the grounds - would of appreciated the additional lie in following on from a wedding but the loud noise was unavoidable.
luxurious and clean
The aparthotel is right next to a wedding venue with which it shares a name but they are two separate businesses (thankfully!) I booked the family suite over six months ago and the photos looked lovely, and it is indeed lovely, luxurious and clean – I would have given a top rating there. My issue is related to the lack of customer care.
At the point of booking, I requested an early check-in which is offered as a service for a fee on the aparthotel’s website and is also included in email communications after the booking. My request was refused even after I phoned the establishment.
It was important for us to refresh and change into our wedding finery before the wedding ceremony at 2pm and an early check-in was essential, so I contacted the PA of the owner who also said ‘we are too busy’ so no early check-in for us (despite being happy to pay for it and requesting it months in advance!)
I can see how this business could operate in this way - with heavy disregard for customer care – it relies on the wedding venue business next door, which offers them a steady stream of customers, yet it fails to address the needs of the wedding guests. I have never seen a hospitality business operate in such a way – if you book with a hotel there is a certain degree of customer care expectation; if you book a private apartment, the owners fall over themselves to help you in every possible way. Not here, hence the reason for my rating.
PS There is also another issue to flag up - a strong smell of dampness as you enter the building and head for the elevator which was not a problem in the suite itself but I’ve just unpacked our bags and could detect a slight whiff on the clothes which stayed in the bags although the bags were in the room for no more than 16h.
