Brilliant
Pros:

Nice big rooms,living room and kitchen are very nice, equipped. The swimming pool is awesome with a great view. Balcony has an amazing view. Close to the beach and restaurants well situated.

Drain pipe smells in the whole flat cold water tap has fallen off which no one came to fix when we asked to be moved to another room the reception didnt even called back with an answer talked to two persons at reception! Patio set was full of dust, maintanace came and just left the drain cleaner on the floors in the showers

The view from the unit is magnificent

Cons:

Check in is only at 16.00 and check out at 09.00. It feels like you pay full price for a quarter of a day. The staff was not very helpful when we requested earlier check-in when there were clearly no people that stayed there before us as the whole block was basically empty. Also the gym does not form part of the facilities anymore, you have to now pay R100 pp per day which is quite steep, that used to be included. Then the hot pools next door closed down, that was the only reason we went there and although the hot pools have nothing to do with this unit it added to the disappointment.

The breakage fee deposit and how it was handled.
I want to express my dissatisfaction following my recent stay at the Beach Club Villas in Mossel Bay.
While the accommodation and facilities were pleasant and met expectations during our stay, I am disappointed by the manner in which the return of our breakage deposit was handled. We had to follow up weeks after our departure to enquire about the return of our deposit only to be informed—without prior notice or consultation—that a deduction of R400–R500 had been made.
The reason given was that two plates and two cups had been left unwashed. This deduction feels excessive and unjustified especially considering the minimal nature of the oversight. At no point were we told that failure to wash a few dishes would incur such a high cleaning fee. This lack of transparency
and absence of clear communication around the policy is concerning and feels misleading. Moreover the amount that was deducted without prior discussion or opportunities for us to respond adds to a sense of poor service and underhandedness. It does not reflect the standard of service one would expect from a reputable hospitality establishment. Unfortunately this experience has left a sour impression and will make me reconsider staying there again.
