I was very disappointed with my experience at this hotel. We originally booked a three-night stay but ended up leaving the same day we arrived due to the overall lack of maintenance and cleanliness.

Several aspects of the property felt neglected. The stairs had visible rust, the pool looked dirty, and the shower head in our room had mold on it. These kinds of basic maintenance and hygiene issues made us uncomfortable staying there.

Because of these conditions, we decided it was best to leave and find another place to stay. The hotel staff acknowledged the situation and told us that we would receive a refund for our reservation.

However, I am still waiting to hear back regarding that refund. I hope the hotel follows through on what was promised and resolves this soon.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to the maintenance and cleanliness of the property.

The resort is well designed. They were very accommodating in changing my room to first floor as I factured my ankle hiking down the Santa Ana Volcano and I was on crutches with leg cast.

The staff and Oscar was very helpful. Appreciate their support.
Pros:

Very quiet and clean property with gorgeous views of the ocean. Easy to walk on the beach. Chef on staff and highly recommend ordering meals through them.

Nos estafaron hice la reservacion por dos habitaciones y 4 personas y cuando llegue solo era una habitación con una cama y un sofá prácticamente me robaron el dinero y no reconozco el pago ya que el gerente no quiso darnos seguimiento y dijo que la aplicación era la culpable muy mala experiencia

Everything was amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff led by Oscar extremely friendly and attentive, and the location is great - right off las Flores beach, which is a quieter beach with easy waves for small wave surfing. pool was great. Even though there were other guests it always felt quiet, relaxed and good vibes. The food was delicious and well presented, and chef Reinaldo always came out to ensure we were happy. The breakfasts were so delicious and from main menu the ceviche was my favourite. We will definitely be back

A bar open later would make this even better, but you have your own kitchen so no big deal

Sehr schöne Anlage mit wenigen Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind groß, liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und an der Rezeption wird Englisch gesprochen. Bei Fragen wurde uns gut weitergeholfen. Essen aus dem eigenen Restaurant ist sehr gut.

Pros:

Fishermans Resort Life was a welcome retreat away from the rigors of travel. We were welcomed by Oscar and his friendly staff, who guided us to our room. The tiny resort was gorgeous - overlooking the Pacific ocean, surrounded by palm trees, in a tropical oasis. The "private chef" experience was wonderful and unexpected. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We left refreshed and ready for our next leg of travel.
