Erika is a lovely host! Our apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a huge balcony, offering amazing views over Corvara and towards the mountains and the Gardena Pass. Belavista is only 5-10 minutes walk away from Corvara Bus station and Conad Supermarket! We received QR code bus passes, giving us free bus rides on all Südtirol buses. We went as far as the most northern village in Italy, Casere, right next to the boarder of Austria, to view the Austrian Alps, and of course, enjoyed many cable cars, gondolas and chair lifts in the Alta Badia, Val Gardena, Val Di Fassa, Arraba, Civetta and Cortina areas. We can't recommend Belavista and The Dolomites enough! Thank you Erika, Giuliano and the rest of the team for an amazing stay in one to the most beautiful places on earth!
Location of Residence Belavista is fantastic - ski in ski out, literally metres from a main lift.
Be prepared for a bit of a steep walk up to the apartments from the town, but the views are better for it.
The rooms were very clean but not enough of anything - the supplies were mean - toilet roll, pillows, washing up liquid etc etc... not enough of anything. Really, they could be a bit more generous!!
The hotel is located on a hill, and the windows of the bedroom I stayed in faced the mountain and the town of Corvara, offering a spectacularly beautiful view. Because the hotel is situated on the mountain, there was such a pleasant tranquility
The hotel is located on a hill, and to reach it in winter, there is a steep 100-meter-long road that is difficult to climb without snow chains on the wheels. The hotel does not include breakfast, nor does it have a restaurant. However, there is a grocery store where food can be purchased. The beds are uncomfortable
Very good localization in Corvara (5 minutes to shop and bus station), beautiful view and large balcony facing west (amazing sunsets) - we stayed in superior apartment. Washing machine and dryer available in the garage. Sauna available. Helpful staff. We received the bus tickets to commute around the area, which was great.
A bit old-fashioned furniture, especially the kitchen equipment (refrigerator). Said that, everything worked as it should. Sauna available only between 5:30pm and 8pm required to be turned on yourself - if you come late and turn it on after 6:30 pm it will get hot just before the 8pm so you have little time to enjoy.
The hotel is in an amazing location set on the high side of Corvara. Close walk to restaurants and the Conad Supermarket. Large apartment with most items needed to get by. The owners /managers were great. Communication was great and plenty of parking. The sauna was great and had it to myself each night.
Could do with a Microwave oven.
the property is a ski in ski out right next to a
red trail and 30 secs ski down to the lift.
the view is gorgeous and there is a huge balcony.
1. this house is up on a hill so when it snows the driveway is slippery for cars.
2. the kitchenette needs a serious upgrade that the stove doesn’t function well.
3. please note that the checkout time is 9am. I’ve been to so many hotels/airbnbs no one ever requests such an early check out time. by 9am the landlady will be by your door urging you to get out.
4. the landlady is very nosy that she knocks on your door everyday for small things and tries to get into the apartment so she can see what’s going on inside.
5. there is a sign in the basement saying ski cannot go to the room. however if you enter from the front door you wouldn’t see it at all. landlady yelled at us when we brought unused/dry skis from the car to the room. the ski storage room is down in the basement so it’s hard to get down there when you have all equipments on you.
Belavista is perfectly situated overlooking the town of Corvara and all it has to offer, is not surrounded by any other buildings yet just a short walk downhill to the centre and even closer to the Col Alto ski lift. Our apartment (102) on the ground floor was perfect for the two of us and our dog Dennis. It was clean, had a basic two ring gas stove, fridge, plenty of space and a veranda.
Nothing.
Very good location, ski in - ski out 100%, friendly host, good site of the room, plenty of storage space.
Furniture, dishes and parquet could be renewed, cooking space is very small
Great price benefit ratio. The name proves its reason, the view from a bit above town is amazing, however the way to town and lifts and back is a bit problem some if you are with no car and is not good enough in skiing.
if you are sufficiently experienced skiers, a red slope takes directly to property ski deposit downstairs the building and you can also get out of the building ski deposit directly to that slope that takes you to Col Alto ski lift in a minute. The way to town on foot isn’t that much of a problem, but it is important to be considered for the ones with kids or elderly ones.
Other than that, owners run the property themselves and are very helpful, nice and flexible. if you need something, just talk to them, they will probably find a solution. the sauna is really well cared and in good functioning. Even the smaller apartment has a well thought furniture to provide you the most space and cabinets possible in a smart way. Apartments are comfortable, cozy and look nice.
A great cost benefit option in one of the most amazing skiing resorts of the world.
