Immerhin haben wir unser Geld zurück bekommen. Das Personal war freundlich.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war leider von Kakerlaken befallen. Nachdem wir innerhalb kurzer Zeit dreimal welchen begegnet sind, haben wir nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt aber es war keins mehr frei. Wir haben uns dann entschlossen umzubuchen, da wir uns nicht wohlgefühlt haben. Das Zimmer war außerdem sehr heruntergekommen.

Comfortable 1 nigh stay
Pros:

The room is massive and has a big wardrobe for your stuff. There's also a cute balcony where you can hang out, and we did some yoga. Free water, coffee and tea provided downstairs. The bed is comfy and big too so we had a good night's sleep after climbing the volcano.

Cons:

You can indeed hear the neighbours through the walls, especially in the bathroom - it's ok for 1 or 2 nights though, and the hotel wasn't busy. The window is into the inner courtyard, so the room doesn't get any natural light.

Great location, friendly staff but no HOT Water.
Pros:

I’ve been visiting and living in Antigua since 2021. I have stayed at many different hotels and Airbnb’s. This hotel is very well located, it’s close to the Bosque and the central supermercado. Easy walk to everything. The hotel is beautiful and decorated that honors Guatemalan culture. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable as were the sheets and extra blankets. There is water/microwave provided in a common area.

Cons:

The WiFi didn’t work. It gave my laptop a message I needed to be closer to the router, however the router was right outside my room. My room was the closest to the router. The reason for my low rating is because it’s chilly in the morning, completely normal for Antigua at this time of year, however in the morning there was no hot water. None. I turned the handle barely on to find hot water as is normal in many cases where ever you stay in Guatemala. But after ten minutes of running still no hot water. I turned it up higher to see if I could find any but nothing. And while the entire facility was mostly clean my feet were black from walking on the floors. Then after my cold shower in a cold room, I placed my makeup bag next to the sink, when I picked it up I found a 4-5 inch centipede also trying to stay warm under my bag. I will probably receive a bad review for my screaming from finding Mr. Centipede and enduring a cold shower. The WiFi connection has been an issue in other places which isn’t a big deal for me bc I have a Guatemala sim and can use my phone as hotspot but no hot water is a deal breaker for me.

Amazing stay in Antigua
Pros:

Amazing place, super friendly staff, few minutes to the center, with famous Arco de Santa Catalina and a great street food market 5min away. Great and comfy room and bed, quiet place.

Best thing: They stored our luggage while hiking the volcano, and since we took a night bus the day returning from the volcano, we were even able to take a shower there before leaving even though we did not stay overnight.

Thanks a lot, big recommendation!
