Great location
a bit pricey
De accommodatie is precies zoals de foto’s, heel goed verzorgd en met prachtig uitzicht op het dorp en de baai. Het is gelegen op ongeveer 2 uur rijden van het vliegveld. De eigenaar kwam ons in het dorp ophalen zodat we achter hem aan de wat rotsige weg naar de accommodatie konden vinden. Verder waren de eigenaren altijd beschikbaar voor als we iets nodig hadden, maar de accommodatie was zo volledig (keukengerei, wasmachine, handdoeken etc) dat het ons aan niets ontbrak. Heerlijk rustig gelegen in een prachtige tuin. Behalve de gebedsoproep en de hanen hoor je vooral de krekels en het ruizen van de zee ‘s nachts. Mijn partner en ik hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf hier in deze prachtige omgeving van bergen, bos zee en strand.

Within 100 meters, you'll find diverse beach options, including sandy and stone beaches. Moreover, a calm beach is available during rough seas. The host provides exceptional hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcome, special, and well cared for. This destination is ideal for a peaceful beach holiday.
It would be more convenient to have a car here, since walking to the beach involves a hilly uphill and downhill path, taking roughly 12 minutes, which was fine for me but not for my old mum; our kind host gave us a ride.
Bardzo pomocny i przemiły właściciel! Mieszkanie przytulne i bardzo czyste! W mieszkaniu są wszystkie niezbędne rzeczy dla komfortowego wypoczynku (różne przyprawy, kilka rodzajów oleju, nawet kasze i makarony! Okolica cicha, nic nie przeszkadza dla wypoczynku.
10 minut pieszo jest plaża, oraz markety i restauracje.
Pewnego dnia mieliśmy problem z autem, na co właściciel niezwłocznie umówił się o serwis z przystępną cenę. Rewelacyjne podejście do gości!
Po pierwszej nocy rano przeszkadzał hałas z głośników meczetu, ale na 2 dzień przyzwyczailiśmy i dalej nawet nie słyszeliśmy. Ale to nie problem po stronie właściciela, tylko kulturowa osobliwość kraju
Der Besitzer ist äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Er wohnt im Erdgeschoss und stand über WhatsApp jederzeit für uns zur Verfügung. Unsere Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden nach ein paar Tagen gewechselt.
Obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten, wurde meinen Eltern – nach einem Nachtflug – bei der Ankunft ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück mit selbst gemachten Pfannkuchen angeboten. Zusätzlich erhielten wir vom Gastgeber immer wieder frische Eier, eigenen Rotwein, eigenen Honig und einen typisch türkischen Salat – eine sehr nette Geste!
Unser überdachter Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus sorgte dafür, dass das Auto tagsüber nicht überhitzt wurde. Alles geschah angenehm zurückhaltend und äußerst diskret. Selbst als wir einmal Nadel und Faden benötigten, konnten wir uns problemlos beim Gastgeber sie bekommen. Genauso wie 3 Sonnenschirme für den Strand.
Die Zimmer sind makellos sauber, jedes Zimmer verfügt über zwei Balkone, und die Aussicht auf das Meer und die Berge ist einfach traumhaft! Der Gastgeber gab uns auch tolle Restaurantempfehlungen in der Umgebung.
Duschgel, Toilettenpapier, Lotion, Gewürze für die Küche und frisches Wasser standen kostenlos zur Verfügung – an alles wurde gedacht. Da wir als zwei Familien gereist sind, durften wir jeden Abend die möblierte Dachterrasse (ca. 150 m2 gross) nutzen und dort den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Sobald es dunkel wurde, bot sich ein wirklich atemberaubender Blick auf den Sternenhimmel.

+Great location to visit places like: Lycian trail to Gelidonya Lighthouse; Olympos ancient city, Mount Chimaera, Phaselis Ancient City, Arykanda Ancient City, Kekova Island and more. Our favorite beaches nearby: Adrasan, Çıralı, Taşdibi.
+ Beautiful view, the house is on a hill. You can see the sunset. We had an apartment on the second floor, on the right, closer to the sea.
+ The car can be parked near the house. Car is a must, otherwise it will be problematic to get somewhere.
It is important to note that the last 700 meters to Begonvilla are on a dusty road, with a steep incline and maneuvering in the forest. On the first day, the owner met us in the center of Karaöz and showed us the right way to Begonvilla. I am also attaching a picture of the map of this route.
+ The apartment is generally well equipped with new and quality stuff. It is spacious, cozy and clean.
+ The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need: large fridge, washing machine (with detergent), dishwasher (with detergent), stove, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee pot, crockery, tableware, seasonings and etc.
+ There are plenty of consumables: liquid soap in the bathroom and shower, shampoo, and plenty of toilet paper. The owner has planned everything very well.
+ Both rooms have air conditioning that works well and quietly, independently of each other.
+ Comfortable bed.
+ Internet wifi is stable and fast, about 50Mbps.
+ There is no TV, but there is a computer monitor with HDMI, to which you can connect your source.
- The bedding is clean and fresh, but it does not include a duvet cover, just an extra layer of sheet between you and the blanket, which is not very comfortable. Also, this sheet is not very nice to the touch; we would have liked it to be softer. Only one set, no spare.
- There is only one bedside table in the bedroom and only one power socket by the bed, which is already occupied by a lamp. To charge your devices, you will need a splitter.
- In the first few days we hear sounds from the street: dogs barking, roosters cuckooing, and the sounds of the mosque. All this happens early in the morning at 4:30, even before dawn, which can wake you up if your sleep is not very deep. After a few days, we got used to it and didn't wake up from these sounds.
- Only one set of towels per person (large and small), perhaps not a problem as there is a washing machine.
- There isn't enough space near the sink in the bathroom to put your stuff. Perhaps an extra shelf would be useful there.
- It is very difficult to adjust the flow of warm water in the shower; it is either cold or very hot. The correct setting can be achieved with millimeter precision. Perhaps this can be fixed with a thermostatic mixer (advice for the owner).
- We didn't really like the closest beaches:
Karaöz beach - waves churn up the water, sand makes it muddy.
Lagoon (Papaz) beach - unfortunately, there is a lot of trash.
Korsan Koyu - crowded, even in the evening.
- One day, strong winds caused a power outage that lasted several hours. This is understandable, as the location is quite rural. For such cases, the apartment is equipped with a portable gas stove.
- In the main room, the paint is peeling off the ceiling in some places.
Remarquable est le mot pour tout notre séjour ! la situation et la vue est remarquable. L'appartement, ses équipements, son balcon et sa propreté sont remarquables. La gentillesse, la disponibilité, les attentions et petits cadeaux des hôtes Bekir et Ayse ont été remarquables.

Located in village Karaozn this modern 1 bdrm apartment had all modern conveniences and had a well stocked kitchen. Host Bekir was superb and was very helpful at all times. He even came to village entrance to guide us in as Google misdirect to back end of property. He was helpful at all times and provided us with whatever we requested. He goes over and above in being the Host that you dream of. Has good recommendations for eating out and activities.place is ideal for relaxing in uncrowded beaches and scenic droves to destinations such as treks and ruins etc.

The appartment is nicely set and has everything you need. Big plus for cat lovers as there was many of them at the time of our stay :) Karaöz is a small and rather quiet village with several camping places. It's located on a Lykian Way which is a plus for history lovers.
There is no asphalt road to the appartment, you have to take the dirt road through the forrest where there are forresting works going on. We didnt know it in advance so it was a huge unpleasent surrprise for us (but after few days we got used to it). I highly recomand to arrive in daytime as it's not easy to fing the way at first.
