Dissapointing for the price
Pros:

The room was spacious and well appointed

Cons:

The beds are uncomfortable
There was an annoying blue light in the room and the fridge was very noisy.
The breakfast was ok
The restaurant closed at random times and if it odd there was nowhere to get anything.
They wouldn’t allow us food by the pool
There’s nowhere to sit indoors to eat which is not good if it is windy
The pool area is at the front of the hotel and a bit depressing. The beach is separated by a road.

Beautiful, well-designed, cosy, functional rooms. Incredibly comfortable beds and pillows! Bicycles and beach chairs and umbrellas available. Pretty, well-maintained pool and garden. A serene and tranquil atmosphere. Good breakfast. Awesome staff and management (gracias, Milton!). Located at the far end of the Veraniega across the street from a pristine stretch of beach.

Honeymoon in paradise
Pros:

Cucu Hotel was a paradise, and so is the town of El Cuyo. Breakfast every day was delicious, and there were three different options to choose from each day. The staff were lovely - thank you to Leo, Milton, Milton and Hugo, as well as housecleaning (I'm very sorry that I can't recall their names right now!) for making our honeymoon stay so relaxing, memorable and beautiful. We were so close to the beach so we went every day. The hotel has bikes that we used to bike around town, and beach umbrellas. The town of Cuyo was a short walk or bike down the street , lots of restaurants at every price point and so many types of foods to try. The architecture, interior design of the room and landscaping were all beautiful. Our room was very well lit and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very strong and the soap products were very nice. We would happily stay here again, thank you!

Cons:

I was hoping for an iron and a hairdryer in the room, but this is not a major issue. There are a lot of mosquitos and tiny gnats, especially at dusk - this is obviously not a criticism of the hotel, just a heads up if you're staying in this area to be prepared with bug spray or long sleeves.

We loved our stay at Cucu, so much that we extended by 5 nights. Milton was incredible, the breakfasts were fab.
Pros:

It was clean, the staff (special mention for Milton), the breakfast, very relaxed and comfortable.

Cons:

A small bar would have been nice. The fridges were very loud. Softer lighting in the living space of the suite would have been good too.

No dudes en quedarte en este hotel para pasar unos días increibles.
Pros:

La gente que nos atendió en todas las áreas es sumamente amable y agradable, se preocupan para que estes cómodo y pases muy bien. Los cuartos son muy lindos y limpios siempre. La comida es muy excelente. No dudaría en regresar aquí.

Sehr persönliches kleines Hotel. Überaus freundliches Personal. Der Geruch im Zimmer hat mir sehr gefallen :). Das Frühstück draußen war herrlich. Wir wären noch gerne länger geblieben.

Cons:

Allerhöchstens, dass es zu wenig Liegen im Poolbereich gab bei Stoßzeiten. Allerdings war das verschmerzbar und im Strandbereich konnten wir einen Tag herrlich relaxen.

Pros:

El hotel es pequeño, cómodo y limpio. Es genial tener cocineta y todo lo necesario para cocinar. La pequeña alberca es perfecta para niños , sólo necesita ser limpiada mas seguido pornla arena. El desayuno incluido es sorprendentemente rico y también la comida de su pequeñito restaurant. La ubicación no podría ser mejor, a 50 m de la hermosa playa y el mar perfecto para nadar.
