Bathroom toilet water keep running all time that is annoying during stay.

It’s a nice place to stay

Room we stayed in was 1401 and needs a lot of work. Kitchen cabinets old and broken at the bottom where the sink is. Didn’t even use the stove because it looks old and rusty. The couch needs to be replaced, Wasn’t even comfortable sitting on it, can’t even use the pull out couch. The balcony door was a workout having to open it the first three days. The closet door in the room seemed to be broken, we didn’t even use the closet. The worse part was the bathroom.The toilet was wobbly and had rust marks at the bottom of the floor, the bathroom had a sewer smell to it like they need to have the pipes checked or something fixed. For what I paid for a week, the room was not worth it, a motel might have been cleaner than the room we stayed in and money could’ve been saved. On top of it, we gotta buy toilet paper, and trash bags. There’s no front desk or maintenance staff on site, you have to call a number if you need maintenance and good luck if it happens over the weekend because you may have to wait until Monday . AC went out on Saturday and a sign was up on the elevators that it will need be taken care of Monday, luckily we checked out Sunday morning. As far as the room we had, I’m not sure if it was because they only have certain rooms for booking.com but I will NEVER use booking.com again and they will have to do better in selecting which rooms should be available and need to be worked on before letting paying guests stay in those rooms. For the amount they charge, they should fix these rooms. I’ve stayed in other hotels in SC and never had an issue with any of the rooms we stayed in.

The parking garage was awful. It was a tight fit everytime we had to leave and go. There were people that damage there vehicle. I parked out in the parking lot first . The put a yellow ticket and said if I didn't move they would tow it. I thought that was crazy since it was a lot of parking. Also I was supposed to have two queen beds. And had 1 King.

We did not like that there was no administrative staff in our own building to talk to. We did not like that the lobby had no fresh coffee or tea in the mornings for guests.

Where to start?
It was very confusing trying to find out how to enter the parking lot, only to find my SUV wouldn’t fit in the garage.
Next, it was advertised as “oceanfront”, but I personally do not consider crossing a street as “Oceanfront”! Granted, no other buildings were in front of it, I’m not a spring chicken! I was planning to go downstairs and walk straight out to the beach. We often had to wait on cars (or GOLF CARTS) to pass before we could cross, then had to walk up the street before coming to a “beach access” location.

Also, there were 3 in my party and we were given 3 towels TOTAL for 4 days!! We literally had to go to Walmart to purchase towels and washcloths for our showers! Who can use the same towel for FOUR NIGHTS at the BEACH?? Not me, my husband nor our son!
To top it off, we were told “NO ROOM SERVICE” because we rented through Palmetto Vacations! We were not told ahead of time that we would be staying in someone’s “home” and would not be provided things we have come to expect while on vacation. Maybe I’m expecting too much?????
I truly do not think so, considering what we paid and how uncomfortable BOTH beds were! My son and husband actually had to sleep in the bed beginning night two because I couldn’t sleep in the bed, it was too thin and hurt my back! I actually slept on the “sofa” without making it into a bed, so I could have some support!


There was not one staff member working at the location (at least not that we saw) other than a security guy who only works day shift.

In addition to having to purchase towels and washcloths, we had to buy toilet paper, soap and shampoo. Just and FYI!

Also, there were signs for “Ice Machines”, but NO ICE MACHINES were ever found!

FYi: there is NO FRONT DESK!

No front desk, no maid service. You communicated your issues via email like it's 1990. Laundry was on the 7th floor and cost $4 a load, as if you hadn't already spent a fortune on your trip. Parking garage was tight with limited spaces. Beds were old and uncomfortable.
