Run down & noisy
Pros:

Location to beach is great

Cons:

Construction going on, starts at 6am and finishes at 5pm. Will be going on to the next few years, not relaxing at all.
Apartment was absolutely FILTHY!
So old, run down, stains, utterly disgusting

Great location and facilities. A lick of paint, new curtains and carpets and it would be fabulous.
Pros:

Location was great, friendly staff. Parking, pool and gym.

Cons:

Tired, needs a lick of paint. Carpets old and had exposed carpet tacks where carpet did not reach the edges, cut foot on it. showers had a bit of mould and curtains dirty.

Great central locations but the room furniture needs to be updated.
Pros:

The location was fantastic. The beach was at the end of the street and Cavill Ave was only a short walk away. Pacific Fair was only a 5 minute drive. The reception staff were friendly. Parking was included. Rooms were clean. The pool was nice but cold. The sauna was nice.

Cons:

The furniture in the room was old and damaged. The beds were uncomfortable. The spa had fungus in the corners.

We love Artique so much we bought a unit
Pros:

We love Artique - so close to the beach but a little away from surfers. Close to restaurants, the surf club, and right near the tram station.

Cons:

We had 2 rooms and I feel they both could be cleaned a little better.

Well room 302 we had the corner room, construction, semi trailers motor bike cars people yelling so bloody load you could not sleep, will never stay at this place ever again, the lifts are terrible just waited so long to go up 3 levels
