The staff was very helpful and the facilities were pretty good. The view over the Bay of Naples is also sterling.
During our 7 night stay out garbage cans were only cleaned once, we didn't really have much in the way of cleaning services and the separate building we were housed was somewhat run-down overall. The outdoor pools that were not heated were very cold (not a problem in the summer, but definitely a problem in October).
Pros
- Staff & Service: Really kind and helpful, especially reception staff and Luigi at the pool bar. When we forgot to book a transfer and couldn’t get the train due to a late flight (all quotes were €200+), the hotel organised one for us at a much more reasonable rate.
- Apartment: Clean, spacious, with a beautiful terrace and stunning bay views.
- Shuttle & Transport: Free hourly shuttle with a friendly driver. Last return at 10pm, but the 15-min walk via steps was easy enough. Great train links to Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Naples. Boats to Capri, Positano, Sorrento depart right outside the hotel.
- Beach & Poolside: Beach was rocky but lovely (sea shoes recommended). Beach toys/inflatables available. Drinks reasonably priced—cocktails good value.
- Tennis: Free grass court (worn but playable), rackets and balls provided.
- Resort Feel: Good if you want to stay put, relax by the pool/beach, and eat at the hotel.
- Pools: Misleading advertising—only one usable pool (a saltwater pool in the beach club), open to the public and with no shallow end. The other pools shown belong to the spa and to use them cost extra.
- Food & Costs: No supermarkets nearby, local restaurants pricey. Hotel breakfast €18 per person, way too much for continental. Limited snack options, only at short lunch service. We ended up going to a minimart at the nearby campsite for cheap croissants and snacks.
- Accessibility: Without a car, the steep walk to Vico Equense centre make it tough. Location felt remote and a bit “trapped” in the marina.
- Hotel Access: Once returned from Sorrento to find the entire hotel shut off—no driveway or entry access until someone eventually let us in. Concerning for people arriving from late flights.
- Beachside Tennis Courts: The advertised beachside court was unusable (no net/markings, just a patch of dirt).
- Beach Restrictions: Lifeguard wouldn’t allow use of paddle boards, despite being stored with the inflatables.
- Drinks Pricing: Odd that wine, beer and spirits cost the same as cocktails. If not more expensive ?

Gli spazi dedicati i bambini, il terrazzino dedicato al nostro appartamento., la vista meravigliosa sul golfo, i tramonti.
Animazione in spiaggia scarsa.
We were right on the water. The front desk staff was excellent. The shuttle service was convenient.
The room was extremely musty. No fresh towels. Hardly any towels at all. 2 of the 3 air conditioners broke and dumped water on my kids’ bed.
They weren’t up front about the pools. There’s only one pool available for the apartment residents. It was a salt pool that was 8 feet deep at the shallow end. Definitely not kid friendly.
It was open to the public. I think they were running a camp out if there as well. On some days it felt like the entire town was there. The section of beach we were allowed to use was extremely crowded and rocky.
We went up to simply look at the other pool and my daughter was yelled at. Just an awful first impression. Dinner at the hotel was often “fully booked.”
We felt lied to and misled by the pictures and description. What you see is not what you get. Let’s not even mention that getting to the place is an exercise is in daredevil driving. I almost died several times and I’ve driven through the amalfi coast before.
Superbe emplacement sous les vignes près de la plage
Équipements sommaires dans l’appartement
It was at the beach
Our apartments were 1/2 km from facilities like reception, bar, beach. They left linen for you to change bed. The description of facilities were not what you got
Staff amazing, they picked us up from the train station even when not running (between 1-4). google sent us to the wrong station and had us walking over cliffs so totally lost and the hotel saved the day.
Room wonderful Reception staff above and beyond.
The heat,
Staff were prompt when we complaint about basic stuff missing in our apartment like hot water kettle, pots and pans, AC not working.
If you are staying in the apartment:
Room: there are no windows anywhere in the rooms and only one way to enter air and light which is from main door. Its claustrophobic.
Access: through a very narrow road and there are no walkways. You can only access this location if you are using your own means. No public transport etc for kilometers. There is alternate access by a narrow bridge controlled by red/green traffic light which is really tricky if you are in a bigger family car.
Eat: No much options and everything nearby closes by 9.30 PM. We've been denied at 10PM in every restaurant even with 2 kids.
Facilities were good
Location too far from Vico equense and shuttle bus out of action, apartment very far from main hotel, lots of unsightly items on the walkway down, wet slippery slope leading to apartment
Beach, pool. Giulia at the front desk was especially helpful with all our travel arrangements including car hire. Breakfast was lovely
We asked for extra towels and were initially denied, there were four of us and 4 towels for 3 days. We didn't even use them at the pool, we had our own turkish towels with us. Eventually they brought some towels and left us in the room while we were out.
Good location. Big family room. Nice staff
Ants in bedroom but staff dealt with the issue straight away.
Had to pay to use some of the facilities
Amazing beach and facilities. We will definitely come back here again.
The location is good for a family trip to the coastal area. We liked the beach and pool and the breakfast service was great. Also, most staff members were very helpful -- some were not so much.
Our room, apartment 11, had an air conditioning unit that had left a lot of water on the floor in one bedroom -- discovered by staff upon our check-in. Maintenance was called immediately and we waited while it was "repaired". The repair did not work and we had water draining and covering the floor throughout our stay. We actually moved one bed out of that room and into another (tight fit) so that it wouldn't keep getting wet.
The breakfast is good and service great but very overpriced. Beware of that especially if you have small children or others who do not each a great deal. Even staff on-site told us it was very expensive if we weren't eating much.
The dinner restaurant has a great location and view, but the food is pretty restrictive to adults. Our teens had a difficult time finding something to eat the first evening of our stay. We chose other restaurants off-property for the remainder of our stay.
IF DRIVING YOUR OWN CAR BEWARE -- some of the residences have very, very, very narrow pathways to drive your car to the parking spot assigned. There are rock walls underneath the beautiful bushes that line these "drive-able pathways". BEWARE
