Good place to explore from around Lake Akaroa.
Pros:

Comfortable, lovely view over lake, easy to find and owner very helpful. Even after we'd left, he messaged us about my daughter having left something behind so we returned to collect it. She wouldn't have realised until we were miles away. Thank you.

Cons:

Road up to property and then up to accommodation is VERY steep. But with good car it's no problem.

exceptional view. we brought our charcoal bbq and was the best experience ever. wine, bbq, views, sunset. very romantic date

Fabulous location.
Pros:

The location was wonderful, secluded in most beautiful surroundings. Our little unit had everything we needed and we enjoyed our brief stay to the full.
The lady at reception was welcoming and very helpful.
Highly recommended!

What a great stay! The surrounds and accommodation were beautiful, but honestly the true standout was the staff! So friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the property. It was so lovely. Beautiful big balcony, lovely to sit outside and have a cup of tea.

Great cabin with beautiful views
Pros:

The location was peaceful and views were amazing, surrounded by greenery and a short drive or a 20 minutes walk to town, up hill walk on the way back.
The cabin was very good, everything you need for a night or 2, very comfy bed, good bathroom and a small kitchen. Would highly recommend to stay at Mt Vernon lodge.

숲 속에서 들어가 있어서 전망을 논하기는 어려움. 다만, 숲 속에 있는 동화에 나오는 집처럼 구성되어 있어서 정말 아늑하고, 편안하였음. 게다가 숙박하는 동안 저절로 몸이 청결해지는 느낌이 들만큼 공기는 깨끗하고 하늘도 잘 보임. 특히 저녁에 별을 관찰하기에 더할나위없이 좋았음. 아카로아에 간다면 반드시 묵어야 할 숙소임.

Cons:

아카로아에서 위쪽으로 차를 타고 올려가야 한다는 단점이 있음. 걸어가기에는 경사가 있어서 힘들 수 있음. 숙소가 좁고 공간이 넓지 않다보니 여러 명이 묵을 경우 불편할 수 있음. 다만, 저렴한 가격에 비하면 숙소는 매우 깨끗하고 따뜻한 물이 잘 나옴.
