Great 2 days there but you have to drive down to the south first before you can go north
Pros:

The apartment was perfectly located with a magnificent view of the cliffs from the bed and balcony (leading from the bedroom). Clean apartment with a comfortable bed. A very quiet village in the evening but we didn’t mind that.

Cons:

I would have liked a table/ dresser inside the door of the apartment so you could lay down your backpack or sun hat or whatever you were carrying. Some paint peeling off the wall in the hallway.
All shops, restaurants and pubs closed at 6 / 7 pm the latest.

Pros:

Nice, spacious apartment with great view. The host was exceptionally hospitable, very kind and open, he operates a cafe downstairs and we had such a nice chat. It also was very convenient that the apartments have a garage and a washing machine.

huge appartment settle in the mountains
Pros:

perfect location settle in the middle of the valley, near the bus stop and restaurants.
The apartment was very big and clean and the owner of the place was very nice and friendly, also provided good recommendation regarding walks near by.

Pros:

The location is perfect in an idyllic little town, and the host is extremely friendly, with a lovely café just downstairs. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in, were warmly welcomed with an espresso, and he gave us great recommendations for our hike. Honestly, the host alone deserves 10 stars! (His tour tip was the Pico Grande round trip – about 1,300m elevation gain and 19–20 km, but absolutely worth it!)

Everything was just wonderful – the facilities and cleanliness of the accommodation left nothing to be desired. We can only recommend it!

Pittoresque et appaisant après la frénétique Funchal
Pros:

Appartement spacieux , très propre et bien équipé au cœur du village ,proche de tous les sentiers de randonnée

Cons:

La vie au cœur du village peut reprendre assez tôt. La grasse matinée n’est pas toujours possible.
