Beautiful apartment in a beautiful village!
Pros:

It was a beautiful apartment. Clearly it was recently updated with excellent taste. The kitchen was well stocked, the shower was awesome and hot! Claudio and Antonella were extremely responsive and helpful when the power went out during a massive snow storm. The beds were comfortable and the comforter was warm. The chalet is located in a pedestrian only area that is easily walkable to the ski area. But if you are driving, you will get a permit to drive through the restricted area and park on-site. I will hopefully have the pleasure of staying again in the future!

Cons:

There wasn't much I didn't like. The chef's knife in the kitchen needs to be sharpened. The soundproofing between apartments is not great. You will hear your neighbors. On our last night a group of boisterous teens came to stay and were up late partying, which made sleep a little difficult. I thought the bed was comfortable, but it was on the firm side. For me too firm is WAY better than too soft or lumpy. But some people might not like it.

Pros:

Very nice apartment in the heart of the village. Well equipped in anything one may need. Small things do make a difference - I particularly liked how the tea and coffee wasn't counted to each day of stay.... The hosts were very flexible and helpful. I highly recommend Kalipe!
