Staff was great, always at your help.
Room size, sea view, big balcony.
Not clean enough, huge spider in the fridge, but got another room, weak hot water pressure.
Beautiful scenery and ocean view with comfort bed with large room plus quite place.
Hotel staff always kind and respect customer
It was a quiet and peaceful stay in between two busy sections of Vung Tao. I was looking for rest and relaxation and found it. It was a walk across the street to the beach and restaurants and a short taxi ride or walk to other site seeing destinations. Breakfast is served on the roof with the view of the sea. There are buildings in between the hotel and the sea but it was nice. I went in May.
I was given personal attention.
The roosters crowing but they did contribute to the uniqueness of the stay.
Liked the room style and view. Got proper looked after with breakfast, etc. Hired motorbike from hotel
And that helped because a bit remote for walking into town. Grab taxi needed otherwise.
Would have preferred cooking stuff, pots, pans, plates, utensils which were missing. The whole place needs an upgrade but we still had a lovely relaxing time here.
This is a wonderful place for people of all ages. Friendly staff and a nice location. The roof terrace has a stunning view and it's accessible by an elevator.
The nearest beach is just across the street. Breakfast options at the roof terrace are great and tasty. We had a spacious family room in the hotel extension. With a Grab or a rented scooter everything in Vũng Tàu is easy to access. There are plenty of things to see and do.
I have no negative comments. I'll add some things, if they are of importance to some.
- The location is magnificent, but has a little distance to the other beaches and restaurants. There's one grocery store nearby, and you can rent a scooter from there. Otherwise Grab will be your saviour.
- The facilities are a little dated, but everything is clean and comfortable. Everything works well.
Excellent off-the-main strip location, close enough to all attractions and restaurants,
if you plan to use Grab to get around.
A trip to the main restaurant-abundant street was only 30k to 40k VND by Grab, and which arrived within 5 minutes every time needed.
We were a family of 3, with husband and wife plus 5 years old child, so this was planned anyway.
Very spacious, large room, including an extra large double (queen ?) sized bed and single bed, with plenty of space around it.
The extra large balcony with partial sea view was a pleasant surprise, as it was much larger than the standard for Vietnam.
It would be more than suitable for 6 people to enjoy some quiet time comfortably, provided more chairs are added to the large table.
With no busy road passing close by, it was quiet and peaceful, with lots of trees surrounding the venue.
The main road, running alongside the ocean, remained only a very short walk, about 80 meters from the entrance to the venue, albeit a very steep up/down hill stroll, which may/will be a challenge for physically challenged individuals, or when it's raining, as the cobble stones could presumably be slippery.
A potential solution would be a golf cart to safely and effortlessly ensure convenience to guests, or at least some railings and/or steps, to provide support.
Being a relatively small hotel, providing a breakfast, as included in the deal, poses huge challenges. This is fully understood, especially during off-peak times, when guest numbers may be limited.
It may be better to not include breakfast during off-peak times, and not create an expectation at.all, as the breakfast offered was a huge let down. Some fried eggs with toast and condiments do not allign with the rest of the hotel's service offering. If I am paying 1.2 million VND a night (which is still cheap for what we received in Vung Tau!), I don't expect an "eggs 'n toast" breakfast.
See above answer ("what we liked") for perspective on pros and cons, together.
The pros far outweigh the cons, so they must be seen in perspective.
It is great to stay here. Beautiful sea view and near the sea, warm welcome staff.
I like it very much
Everything
The Aircondition was a bit loud
Proximity to awesome lesser known paradise-like beaches (bai dua and nghinh phong). Also close to bai sau. Beautiful property, has an ‘Italian villa’ feel - gorgeous driveway with flowers leading up to lovely comfortable rooms. Staff very very lovely and helpful.
Big room and great view
Great view to the sea, spacious room
the room was huge compared to other places we had stayed at in Vietnam and had a little kitchenette. Very very spacious and wonderful environment, Can see the sea from the room balcony. there is a little hillock close by which one can walk to to see the sunrise . The statue of Jesus and the light house are visible from there.
Very chilled out and calm place with some of the top hotels in the vicinity.
the breakfast was minuscule with just bread and eggs. was looking forward to the Pho and other Vienamese dishes
Room was quite large. Aircon worked great.
