Exceptional, I will stay here again when I am back in HCMC.
Pros:

Firstly, the staff were friendly and helpful. The homestay had everything that I could ask for, which included a public kitchen to cook my own meals, swimming pool on the top floor and a cosy cafe on the ground floor to relax while working on my laptop.

Cons:

I can't complain about anything.

Home away from home
Pros:

The room was spacious and there was a kitchen downstairs in the garage available to use. The pool had a nice private view of the city. Filtered water dispenser downstairs you could refill daily for drinking. Entering and exciting the building was easy no matter the time.

Cons:

The balcony was scary small, they only offered cleaning once a week, no room service and there was an incident where I was cooking in the kitchen (which is located in the garage) and I believe it was the owner who was sitting in his car for a good 10-20 minutes with his car on and smoked the whole place out. Very dangerous, rude and gross especially while I was cooking. Breathing in carbon monoxide can kill you without warning.

Cons:

L'établissement ne fait aucune confiance au client et réclame une garantie de paiement en carte bancaire pour réserver. Sur l'annonce de l'hôtel sur Booking il est écrit que la carte bancaire est acceptée. Mais c'est un mensonge des hôtes. C'est une fausse annonce, une publicité mensongère. Effectivement il faut absolument repayer en espèces à l'arrivée. Et quand le client demande une facture pour prouver avoir réglé en espèces l'hôte lui refuse. C'est inadmissible! L'hôte ne fait aucune confiance aux clients, il exige des garanties. Mais quand les clients demandent aussi garantie du paiement en espèces l'hôte répond que les clients doivent avoir confiance en lui, qu'il ne va pas prétendre que le client était absent et facturer en plus sur sa carte bancaire. Et comment font les clients qui ont besoin de justifier auprès de leur entreprise leur note de frais d'hôtel ?

Nice stay in a true location.
Pros:

We liked the hotel as well as the location. It's a few kilometers from the city centre but thanks to that we had a true experience of life on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh. We had 2 rooms - the one with the balcony was great, the other one with a tiny window a bit shabby. We liked the swimming pool - small but gave a lot of fun to our kids. We travelled to the centre by public bus. We ate in nearby restaurants.

Cons:

Generally we liked our stay. The room with a tiny window is a bit shabby because of lack of fresh air and darkness.
