Nice .
Pros:

Nice, fully equipped condo very clean and comfortable, Great pool area, nice building staff. Easy check in/out. 7/11 across the street and plenty of restaurants, super markets ATM access and laundry all within 200 meters. Nice very clean and tidy and safe area

Cons:

Everything was great if I had to pick anything it would be. 1.No where to put your clothes, all the cupboard draws are full.......all extra linen/ doonas and the like... so nice if needed extras, but as staying for a week I wanted to unpack and 2. The hot water is a bit tricky to hit the right temperature, but as it's the Philippines it's not really an issue. Neither of these would stop me from booking there again, just a heads up.

Pros:

The place and location are perfect, especially after a long international travel. It’s close to airport, has everything around you you’ll need and it’s a comfortable place to stay no matter what your daily days activities have been. The host is very accessible and accommodating if needed.

Cons:

The unavailability of Netflix would be my only real unlikable part of my stay

The false information and advertising. They show the beach but they are located 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the beach. The pool is no longer for swimming, they are turning it into a garden area, that is under construction. This was the view from the balcony of our room. The building is in desperate need of cleaning and painting. We checked out a day early and forfeited the second day that we paid for. Owners and management are comfortable with lies and ripping off their customers. Don't go there.

Would never stay at One Pacific Residence (aka Mactan Newtown with Sunset and Garden View) again

I didn't like much and left after one night of the two I had booked, forfeiting the cost of the second night

Cons:

I was totally deceived by this place. The name of the facility "Mactan Newtown with Sunset and Garden View" sounds every bit like a hotel, which I thought I was booking. First red flag was when the taxi driver couldn't find such a building. Looking online says it is temporarily closed. Turns out it is not a hotel at all, but a boring large residential block called "One Pacific Residence". If one reads the small print in the documentation it shows this as the address. There is no room service, no restaurant in the facility, no decent view from the room I had, not close to the beach and a small bed. I couldn't wait until the morning to check out and go to a proper hotel. I should have read the reviews more closely before booking, because one or two pointed out that this is not a hotel in the typical sense. Not even complimentary tea and coffee. It has a tiny kitchen, but the cutlery, crockery and appliances are so old, I wouldn't use them. I definitely won't stay here again, and I would like the facility to be more open and obvious that it's not a hotel, so that others don't make the mistake that I did.
