They are not a big problem but I will add some notes:
There are no mosquito nets on the bedroom window.
The toilet flush is very weak, we had to use an extra bucket.
The oven is not working but stove is working.
There is a bad smell from the sink in the kitchen at night and in the morning. This is not a problem specific to this building, it is in all houses in that area.


Although I wrote the negative part, they are not a big problem, if I go to Fethiye, I will choose this place again. I also recommended it to all my friends.

No clothes line or rack to dry clothes.
No instruction book for foreign appliances.
Were not ready for us to check in even though we arrived 1.5 hours after check in.
Tried to give us the first floor cheaper room even after he took a picture of my passport.
Tried to let someone else in our room while we were staying there.
Had no idea who we were yet the neighboring businesses somehow called us by name.
Had to ask for clean sheet. We got an old patched one and when we first layed on it the pressure from my elbow ripped the old sheet. Then i noticed there were black body hairs all over the bed.
When i emailed the guys in charge he got very accusatory. He did end up apologizing genuinely but there was still such a cold unwelcoming vibe. Even though we kept getting starters to eat at the reataurants they ran below and of course tipping well. The two young guys that look like brothers were a bit cold. The older gentleman who always took our pastrami humus order seemed like a very happy guy living his best life.
Also, it's pretty much a honey moon suite penthouse and theres no plastic covering of any kind on the mattress to clean and with the lower level of housekeeping that is present here, the mattress and frame is most definitely unsanitary.
We had to ask for water for the fridge and handsoap in the bathroom.
I guess it's customary to have dirty dishes in the aparthotels drawers and cabinets so i went to wash the dishes but the old scrubbing pad was sour from sitting wet in the heat.
The wash machine leaked for reasons we arent sure and we woke up to find water travelled across the floor all the way to the tub. Which was very scary because the plug to the tv was on an electrical strip sitting on the floor right near the water. As were all our phone chargers. Terrifying.
It did not leak again after that. *Pro tip: the handwash cotton setting in the machine means only TWO items. My speed queen wash at home does full loads on handwash no problem.

We didn’t get the penthouse apartment depicted in the pictures and we booked based on the pictures. We were mid-sold as we would never have booked the basic rooms we were given. Very low water pressure meant toilet didn’t flush and weak electric shower. Bed was almost collapsing.

Nothing not to like. We asked for a couple of things during our holiday, which considering the owners are also running 2 restaurants, we didn’t get what we asked for, but it didn’t cause any real issues

Bed is a bit noisy but it is only a minor thing

There was slight confusion about the rooms we had booked - we had thought, from the images, we booked the penthouse room, but we had actually booked the second floor. This was an error on our end, but I would just encourage guests to double check the room type that you are booking.

Çaliş Beach is quite touristy, lots of English speaking people and menus, the hotel restaurant downstairs, Motif, well and truly hit the mark for traditional turkish food and the 6km walk to the old town is pleasant along the foreshore
